Murray vs Djokovic

The two put on a great match today and I'm glad to see the end results have Murray breaking his losing streak in a final and finally caputing a major win.

Glad to see Murray win. Lendl has really taken his game to the next level. I hope to see him bring home a Wimbledon victory for the home crowd soon. Don't get me wrong, winning the gold there was special, but it's not Wimbledon.

Re: Murray vs Djokovic

It was a great final, the way Murray came back in that final set and stopped what looked a rampant Novak in his tracks was something else and shows where his game is right now.

Back in 2005 I went to Wimbledon and first saw Murray play and said to some mates then that he will win a grand slam, I had no doubt. Admittedly some doubts had creeped in over the years but not because I ever felt he wasn't good enough but more because of his attitude at times.

But over the last couple of years and in particular since Lendl came on board he has shown a whole new level of maturity, become much more aggresive and as a result looks a potential World Number 1.

His victory at the US Open was just what British tennis needed and has long waited for and with the emergence of Laura Robson on the womens side I think British tennis is at the best level it's been in for a long time. We could be in for an exceptional few years.

All we need now is that Wimbledon Championship!

Eh. I don't like Murray too much. And I don't mean his playstyle.

what next level are you talking about my friend, he lost to Florian Mayer couple of days ago and crashed out of Qatar Open. I am not seeing him getting past 4th round of the Australian open.

Nole is a great player , maybe the best, but sometimes his concentration is broken and he can't fight back . I 'm sure that in next matches he will beat Murry.
