Got the game today and pleasantly surprised with the gameplay overall.

I started on "Pro" difficulty as i have not played any tennis games for years. First matches of the career have been very competitive but i noticed that drop shots were very effective both for and against me. At some point i actually tried to return serve with drop shot and after it worked tried to see if the AI adjusts but i ended up only losing 1 point in 3 opponent service games. Previously i hadn't break once.

This was in career mode, women players with overall ratings around 45 and pro difficulty.

Does anyone know if this is general issue and is it being recognized and possibly fixed by developers? I can just not play drop shots at all so it's far from gamekiller for me and looking forward to continue the career.

Really enjoying AO Tennis. After reading so many negative reviews I was expecting the worst. This game is surprisingly good!!

Drop shots are definitely gimme points every time. I only resort to one if I’m getting pissed after a long rally and just want to end it. But they really need to address them.

I’m loving the game outside of that issue. The creation suite is amazing and frankly the controls aren’t bad at all in the updated game.

This Game has so many potential!
After reading so bad reviews in January when it comes out in Australia, I thought Tennis World Tour would be better.
But now in May AO Tennis is by far the better game! Made for tennis fans by tennis fans!!!
The control remind me of Top Spin, the timing and the power makes every rally a unique one.
Customization is huge and the best thing you are able to download all kind of arenas, logos and all top 100 players...are you missing Federer? No Problem just download him!
This kind of feature is helpful to work against missing licence.


But I have one question:
How to use or to download the Playface Feature?!

Thinking of biting the bullets on this given how TWT has been received.

Is it worth it? Any of you play online? How active is it in multiplayer?

Looking online for deals to get the game. Is there a particular US format or are they all the same? Seeing some deals but there is mention of particular formats (not talking about consoles) so i wanted to make sure.
