Anyone else pumped up about this game?

I know I am. I'm a follower of TNA wrestling. Much more exciting to watch than WWE.

I think this game will suprise many. For one I think the player models look better in this game than WWE vs Smackdown. The camera angle is perfect IMO. Not zoomed in like the other competition. I think Midway might have a winner here. Let's hope it sells well, and the support is there for future versions of the game.

I was pumped for it when it was first announced.
Then finding out Ultimate X would be the only extra mode that went down.
Then there being no female CAW put it down more.
Linear story mode only being able to play as a CAW down even more.
Finally only having 14 grapple moves finished it.

Wondering if it's even worth renting now.

14 grapple moves? That's terrible.

I was never hyped like "OMG I can't wait!", but I was interested. US wrestling games are the pits aside from some editions of SvR and this looks like more of them same arcade, hit every move early game we've seen. it might be fun, but I don't know. I hope this game suprises me, but I doubt it. I'll probably rent it and take it from there.

I'm not sure there's weapons at all actually. Though I meant ladder,cage etc. The basic things,even one of the Gameboy games had a cage match.

I saw how people were complaining about the 14 moves. But, if you watch closely in one of the video's you are able to unlock moves. The guy unlocked a chop lol. I wonder how old that demo is Ign is using? There are chairs in the game

There is a match type in the game called full metal mayhem which is TNA's version of a weapons match. Unfortunately there is not six sides of steel which is what TNA calls their steel cage matches.

this is so true. Midway have a 5 year deal with TNA so we will get more impact games.
