He has a very high opinion of himself.

While I don't dispute Hart's success of the 90s, he is not Ric Flair.

Flair filled seats in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.

Flair was a hit in NWA, WCW and WWE.

Hart was a hit in the WWE and failed big time in the WCW (I'll concede some bad booking).

Ric Flair was a true main eventer. Bret Hart was a great hand and a main eventer for 3-4 years.

He really was a Canadian hero. The Hart Family was/is highly regarded around the time Bret was on top, and Bret was actually voted 'Canadian' of the year in his home country. So to call him a hero would not be a stretch.

Anyway, I do enjoy Bret more as a wrestler more than I do Flair, I just never enjoyed watching Ric. But to call Bret a mid-carder is ridiculous, yeah Flair did draw a **** load more money, I just think they should give each other the credit they both deserve.

Where did I say he was a mid-carder?

And no pro wrestler is a true hero. This is still just entertainment. Bret Hart was no more a hero than Batman or Superman. I am Canadian btw.

Nah I was responding to what Flair called him, not you.

Okay that is true I guess, but that's kinda what I was referring to, as a bunch of Canadians looked up to him and respected him.

Was he not a mid-carder for the majority of his career?

Yeah that could be said about almost everyone though, Flair was saying Bret was a mid-carder at best.

Bret Hart is in any argument for 'Greatest Of All-Time', Ric Flair, not so much IMO.

Stupid statement from a guy still trying to hang on to the limelight.

You're kidding, right?

Ric Flair was a main eventer at nearly 60.

The man was a main eventer for both companies ... at the same level.

Bret Hart was never a main eventer for WCW ... even with a guaranteed contract.

Ric Flair was a true main eventer. I am not knocking Bret Hart (even if I thought he was an egomaniac), but to say Flair doesn't compare to Hart is ridiculous.

Hart had 4-5 main event years. Flair had 20 or so.
