From what I have seen it does look like they are getting closer to that with '12. Lets hope they continue that.
How cool would it be to book the matches and finishes yourself.Comment

Told them I want more focus on the career/Road To Wrestlemania mode than Universe. I just enjoy the possible randomness of a great career mode than having everything scripted in Universe and setting all the cards yourself. That's great for like a "Be A GM" mode but I've always felt that these games have lacked in career mode. The more open-endness in a career mode, the better.Comment

Universe isn't scripted at all. The matches are set at random and you don't set the cards unless you choose to. I think what he was trying to say is have more of a create a player mode like NHL, Madden, or The Show has. At least that's what I asked for. I would rather have a career mode where you start out as a rookie at some small indi fed that has matches at a local bar, school, or rec center then starting on Raw wrestling Cena. Working your way up too FCW or OVW or more indi feds. Then finally making it too the big time. And since they have this huge library; they actually use it. WWE, WCW, ECW, AWA, and a couple other big time feds trying to beat each other in the ratings. Also, I would have contracts and bonus money that would go to unlocking new moves and uping your wrestler's abilities. That would be what I want.

Heh...I did the same. Also asked for more customization in Universe (kind of like blending in GM type options plus option sets for angle frrequency, heel and face turns, etc...I went into way more detail in the survey)Comment

I really doubt that would work since you actually have to have realistic models/movesets/entrances, etc. For Madden, you just create a player with a generic face and do his ratings.Follow me for live wrestling tweets @molarmiteComment
