I don't care about JR, Cole, King, or the alternate Christian but I'm pretty happy with the rest of the pack.

Someone on the IGN forum posted a theory, based on the THQ website. I looked in to the theory (based on typing in names and seeing where they led on the THQ WWE site) and only 13 names linked to a "404" page. Everything else was a dead link that defaulted back to the Main Roster. I truly believe that these are the 13 characters that will be DLC:

Shawn Michaels

"Macho Man" Randy Savage

Batista

Brodus Clay

Mick Foley

Jim Ross

Michael Cole

Kharma

Trish Stratus

If true I wish they would stop adding all these Divas. In my opinion with the tag teams scene so weak right now I was hoping they added more legendary tag teams.

HBK himself wanted me, "The Hammer," to personally announce that in WWE '12, "Shawn Michaels is BACK in the building." Only this time, it's in DLC Pack #1. That's not all, though. It's his '97 Survivor Series attire (well, kind of. The hearts aren't filled in black). Are you serious, bro? Check it out!

Jim Ross and Michael Cole (WrestleMania XXVII Attire)

How fitting is this after last night's Raw? These two play by play announcers are complete polar opposites, yet have been tied together for the better part of 4 months. Good 'ol J.R. is a WWE Hall of Famer, and that's really all that needs to be said. Michael Cole, however, is either the scum of the earth, or that sarcastic (but funny) prick that each of us has in our lives. It depends on how you look at him. Anyway, These two being included in the DLC pack is a win/win for fans everywhere. Get revenge for J.R., by stomping a BBQ-lathered mudhole in Cole, or continue the rib (BBQ), and keep eating away at the Sooner's soul. The choice is yours -- ah, choices!

Road Warriors Alternate Attire

Before they were the "Legion of Doom," they were already the most successful tag team in all of sports entertainment as "The Road Warriors." Animal and Hawk will be in their all too comfortable Road Warrior black with silver spikes attire from their NWA days, for DLC Pack #1 in WWE '12. What a rush, indeed.

Ah, the days when things were much simpler. Christian wasn't whining about "one more match," and Edge was pre-back injury. "Glory Days" by Mellencamp is ringing in my head right now. Edge and Christian as the Edge & Christian tha we all grew up on is back in WWE '12. You won't want to miss the chance to reunite this duo in your WWE Universe. 5 second poses for everyone!

Really disappointed in Shawn's character model, entrance, attire, and pretty much everything I saw upon a second look.

My main issues:

- No entrance attire...C'mon, that's what makes Shawn so different than any other wrestler. AND it was even in a previous SVR, where Shawn had his red/black zebra heart pants from WM XIX.



- Current look in old pants...Really? If you're going to have 1997 Shawn, make it look like 1997 Shawn. Drop the ponytail and beard, and give the man his look seen above.

- Entrance is recycled, a little bit of YouTube footage wouldn't have killed anyone in trying to capture it correctly... which means for the umpteenth year in a row his signature pose in the middle of the ring is wrong.

- Attire is off, and not that of HBK 1997 at all. It says "Shawn Michaels HBK" on his butt, when it should be "Heartbreak Kid HBK". Minor annoyance that bugs me since I like authenticity. Placement and size of hearts is pretty rough as well. The butt text/heart is WAY too low, and looks wrong.

In the scheme of things, I'll still get it...but seriously, why can't I just get ONE good HBK in my gaming life? Last one that was passable was back in No Mercy. Just appears this one was rushed out the door, and I'd rather wait an extra month to get a passable version of my favorite wrestler...This really took the wind out of my sails.

I guess the kicker for me was looking at the attention to detail with LOD and E&C. What gives?
