Anticipation builds for wrestling fans awaiting the release of WWE '13. In just under two months, fans will get to play as their favorite superstars in the squared-circle. With the biggest roster ever released on a wrestling game, the possibilities of matches are endless.

The “Attitude Era” is a big addition to WWE '13 this year, and one that many fans, myself included, will enjoy. A mix of current superstars and “Attitude Era” superstars should make for some interesting matches.

These all sound great. Especially Dolph Ziggler vs HBK. Ziggler is one of the best in the business today and HBK is one of the best EVER!

I don't like tag matches as much, and I think it would dilute from the spectacle that match would be.

All the matches sound good, but I'm not a fan of 6 man tag matches personally. I will say its funny how Randy Orton, CM Punk and John Cena all are modern versions of Stone Cold, Triple H and The Rock. Have those guys fight individual matches. Triple H and Randy Orton in a No DQ/No Count Out, Falls Count Anywhere match. The Rock and Cena in a Iron Man match. Stone Cold and CM Punk in an I Quit match....now your talking.

Not the biggest roster ever for a wrestling game(Fire Pro Wrestling Returns), not even close. Still it's impressive, game is looking real good.

Every year this game looks great in pictures, videos, media hype and initial reviews then the glitches and bugs start to filter out along with THQs consistent shoddy online experience. Ive been burned too many times by THQ(twice last year actually) with a broken community creations feature on WWE 12 and a severely broken online and unpatched Undisputed 3, which by the way, as recently as Wednesday, on their official forums they still insist will be patched...right...online is almost unplayable right now.

I'm waiting for the day they make the ultimate WWE game with a great sharing feature that actually works. As with Madden, this deep in to the console life cycle how long will consumers put up with, "well its a step in the right direction". NHL, FIFA, 2K basketball, and The Show can do it right consistently...whats the problem??

Good article, though you had the capacity to have the top two matches in "Legends of WrestleMania" with the Smackdown vs. Raw roster. As for the upcoming game, I'm hesitant to buy after WWE 12 had so many problems with the online section (downloading created characters, etc.) that THQ didn't exactly seem to be in a hurry to correct.

For my money, WWE Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain for the PS2 remains the most fun WWF/WWE game released to date.

Had even thought about that game and I just played it the other day, but yea you're right. That game has an insane amount of guys. Unfortunately most of them are from Japan and I don't know.

Is there a seperate universe mode for the Attitude Era? Or do you have to edit a lot to try and get it that way?

Usually they have Road to Wrestlemania, instead this year they have the Attitude era. You play it out how it happened in real life and unlock more matches along the way as the stories replicates how it happened in real life.
