States they were behind the curve when it comes to 360-degree monetization and Take Two “blew them away” with proposal. “Take Two blew us away with commitment in terms of getting us on as many platforms as possible.”

I'm not a huge PC gamer and never for sports games but I would def get the PC version. These games would be amazing if the modders could get their hands on them.

I'm curious to see what happens with Universe Mode.

That's all I play, and really where my main interest is. Will it stick around? Get scrapped? Get improved? Get worse?

They should keep it, but add a my wrestler type mode like NBA 2k13 has my career mode. I would love to see that happen in Universe mode. I've never been a GM type guy. I just like controlling one wrestler and that is it. But a side from that this news ain't ground breaking. Hopefully 2k will make some changes to the game this year even tho THQ/Yukes is still in charge of running it.

Well if it was, it would be pretty groundbreaking. Randy Moss covered-NFL2K was the last time I had real fun playing a football game.

This is either gonna be along the lines of NBA and NFL 2K games or just be another WWE disapointment like the last few years have been with THQ. 2K needs to add stuff that 2K does and not just go along with what THQ was doing. Try add a My Carer like mode, Have WWE Today, Have Roster Updates.

It's probably going to be along the lines of what THQ has given us because they have no time to build a new engine for the game in less than one year.. That's why they've hired people who worked for THQ to work on the game right now, because they already know what's going on.

Yuke's made a wrestling game for Dreamcast before. I'm suprised they were allowed to make a wrestling game at all after that one.

This is the most likely scenario for this year. But I really hope they don't keep the guys from THQ around full time.

I have a bad feeling that WWE 2k14 won't be too much different at all from WWE 13. The same staff was retained for the most part and Yuke's were already working on WWE 14. They're still targeting a fall release so there's just not enough time to put together a game that is marketed differently.

If any wholesale changes are made to the series, it'll be in WWE 2k15 where they've had a full year to work on it.
