I don't see why it would have to become even more PG friendly, there's plenty of TV-14 shows on broadcast TV.

As well as PG rated shows which have mature jokes/dialogue on it too. PG rating hasn't hurt the TV product. PC society and having 30+ writers on your staff is what's hurting them.

Hollywood writers instead of actual wrestling people hurts as well. Having a few isn’t so bad, but when they’re outnumbering the actual wrestling minds in the room, you tend to lose sight of how to book a good “wrestling” program.

Good points, Honestly, if I were running the product i'd have the "Hollywood writers" watch a full year's worth of NWA TV from the mid '80s. That'd give them some idea how you actually "gasp" build drama and storylines.

If they go to FOX, going back to two hours would be a welcome change considering it was USA that wanted RAW to be 3 hours, not WWE. Unless maybe FOX holds the first two hours, 8-10 with FS1 taking the last hour 10-11? I mean they don't have enough subscribers for the Network to hold the last hour of RAW on the Network live so they couldn't do that.

I would be more worried about a more "PG" type show if it were on ABC/NBC, Fox has been known to loosen the boundaries a little bit more. I would be down for FOX getting the rights as long as it shows up on FS:GO.

Re: FOX to go hard after WWE if they lose rights to UFC

What type of stuff exactly are people wanting out of WWE that they feel the PG rating is holding them back on?

To me, Diva stuff is fine staying in the past, and society in general would frown upon it if WWE did anything similar to what they did in late 90s/early 00s with many of their women. Blood is also fine in the past. Major health concerns about people bleeding and on each other. Chair shots to head I don't think I need to explain that. Course language is still on tv.

Quality and amount of storylines is simply based on writing, not tv rating.

I might be in the minority but I think the product suffers without occasional blood. I understand why chair shots to the head are gone too but they added something not easily replicated as well.
