Did anyone else see a commercial during Tuesday's Smackdown for the March 20th Smackdown, advertising AJ defending the WWE title vs KO and Sami in a triple threat? Seemed like a strange match to advertise when Fastlane hasn't taken place yet

You probably saw it because it’s being held at an arena in your area, also all cards are subject to change so don’t read anything into it.

To add onto this the original plans for Fastlane called for Orton and Nak to be in the main event instead of Corbin and Ziggler, according to advertising from the arena.

It's a WWE event, and a Pay-Per-View so of course I would for a decent price.

Depends what 'go see' means. If it's buying a ticket at face value...nah. A free ticket or cheap? Sure, why not?

                  Fair enough.

Tickets are free. Just have had a super busy week between work, practice, and wedding planning and not sure I wanna make a trip from Dayton to Columbus for something I don't watch on a regular basis anymore.

Oh...nah, I wouldn't. I was thinking if someone offered a ticket and I had nothing really going on it'd be worth going out. But if you're busy enough during the week and not into the shows right now, it's probably not worth the trip.

Actually just learned they'll be in Dayton on Monday. Might just do that instead. Thanks for the input.

Hey I'm in Akron and will take your free tickets.

Was checking out Stubhub prices on tickets just for the hell of it. $50 the cheapest to get in, with decent seats around $200, and the best seats for $700-$1000.

I often wonder if prices like that affect the excitement level of crowds. Like, if ticket prices were more like the MLB, which I feel like was the case in the 1980s-1990s, would we see a wider variety of crowd reaction.

I don't think it impacts excitement of crowd, but rather the people who attend. WWE might be different since it's more a niche market, but I see for some sports teams, the more richer people are often ones who get tickets through their work, being the ones at events. Those are ones who wouldn't be as excited, and just show up, get food, talk, go on phone, leave early.

Higher prices do usually mean less families who are able to attend, meaning obviously less kids and people who have younger kids but can't go themselves because it's too much to take their kid.

Some markets the hardcore fans are getting priced out of attending live. But since the tickets are still being sold, it doesn't matter who bought it. If anything, it should help since the hardcore fans will still watch on tv while the casuals who wouldn't regularly watch are in attendance.
