WWE Fastlane 3/11/18

Haven't seen it yet, but without spoiling it (and just quoting this post in your reply so that I only read replies relevant to this question), how was this PPV?

Specifically, the matches I care about are the US/Tag Title/WWE title matches and the Rusev-Nakamura one too.

I thought the PPV was better than i expected. Women I thought stole the show. Tag Match was my favorite match. Main event was fun. All in all I liked it and I thought it did a decent job setting up some stuff for Mania. Curious to see where Cena goes.

One thing I disliked about the main event was the commentators constantly harping on, "these guys are fighting to get to WM to face Nakamura!" I mean, it was a WWE title match. Winner gets the belt. That's kind of a big deal. I feel like the commentary is actually getting worse.

I honestly think whoever is directing them is really hampering them from just doing their job. There are times when the commentary shines and then there are moments like that.

Technically, they are correct, but right, they should be pushing that the match was for the WWE Championship.

It's also so ridiculous that they act like without a championship, some of these guys aren't going to be on the WrestleMania card, especially John Cena. Who in their right mind would believe that a guy that's been the face of the company for 10-plus years, is the biggest merchandise seller, etc., wouldn't be on the show?
