Dunno. I was really surprised by how much she was booed. Like I know I’ve heard grumblings of it being disappointing she’s been turned into female Lesnar but she was being cheered everywhere.

And the Thank You Charolette chant? What was that about? Rousey did a good job playing into it on her way out of the arena. Unless she was genuinely shocked and hurt by it.

Reminded me a lot of the crowd turning on Rock at X-Seven

Re: WWE Survivor Series 11/18/18

I gotta say Paul Heyman (and WWE overall, for this matter) is great. They have completely nailed this 4 Horsewomen stuff. Heyman "took over" creative control of Ronda midway through the Bellas feud and has been doing great work with her. And WWE has been on the button with the Becky run since SummerSlam. They have done great with making the marks this that the company doesn't want Becky in this spot, when they have since the SD after SummerSlam.

Also I don't know how I could vote for someone other than Vince as booker of the year in the Observer awards this year. The only huge mistake he's had this year was not pulling the trigger on Reigns at Mania. Everything else WWE has done this year has been pretty damn good. They created a megastar in Becky, and possibly another Charlotte, we'll see going forward with that. Ciampa-Gargano (yes Vince has some power in NXT though nobody will admit it publicly) has been the best feud in the industry in years.

Re: WWE Survivor Series 11/18/18

Charlotte changed her twitter bio to say "Baddest bitch on the planet."

My theory on all this is that they are setting up a feud again between Charlotte and Becky because you can't have Becky feuding with Ronda across brands now that the one night a year where smackdown faces Raw had passed. (ha) And also this will set up a gap in the Becky/Ronda feud so they can heat it up around Wrestlemania again to set up their big first confrontation.

Re: WWE Survivor Series 11/18/18

I enjoyed the Charolette turn but it makes me really question what they’re doing with her on Smackdown. They didn’t have Becky drop the title so I’m assuming they think she could be back by TLC. I really don’t want Becky and Charolette feud again. But do they align them? And if so who stands up to them on Smackdown? A neutered Aska?

Same with Ronda on Raw. I think we def saw seeds of a heel turn post match. Which I think we were all wondering how they’d do that so they could align her with Bazler and the rest of the horse women. But then who do you have on Raw with Nia also now a mega heel?

Women’s division on both sides is arguably the most intersecting thing going after last night.

Switching gears getting swept by Raw has to play in as a storyline point for Smackdown right? Leading to some kind of change? I mean it was interesting that at least kayfabe wise Smackdowns two best guys weren’t even on the show in Styles and Orton.

For a show that typically throws storylines and heel/face dynamics aside they did a great job setting things up. Def more interested in the product than i have been in months.
