I might just be in a weird mood but he whole show has felt kinda odd.

Biggest difference, and who knows if it’s just a one off, is a lot more matches and they’ve all been pretty short. They pretty much all felt at least somewhat story driven vs just having a match for the sake of a match.

The town hall stuff seemed familiar. Wasn't that format used before? Feel like it was but I cant remember when.

That open forum was cool though. Wonder if it was a Bischoff plan for this show because it did get other people involved in quick and effective exchanges.

Otis reaction when Liv was asking Charlotte Charlotte theres anything real about her lol.

I liked how they acknowledge people Owens mentioned in his promo.

So I’m watching on dvr now. I’ve never watched a Smackdown episode in its entirety ever in pretty sure.

Any way, so they always run the show and commercials in PIP like they are in this Cesaro/Black match? I like it.

That Liv promo was cool. Actually announcing shes going away but will be back and be changed. Wonder what her repackaged character will be like. Riott squad as a whole was a failure.

And during that match, anyone else notice they put a Hogan graphic for Raw on the screen? During a New Day match...maybe not best idea? Could've put literally anyone else.

And finally a champ gets counted out on purpose. Not walk away from the match, but just end up outside the ring and decide to just stay there. Never made sense when a champ would go back in the ring over take the loss but keep titles.

I like that they did that. Better than 30 min left where theres only 1 thing left to do, so that means that match will be going long and/or we have a filler match/segment beforehand.

Having a few things in final part of show means these things will be short and to the point.

The shorter matches overall, that should be the goal. Not some 15 min exhibition. A 5 min match which accomplishes something does way more. Imagine the womens tag title match going 10 mins with a commercial break in between, only for it to end that same way. Would feel pointless to have basically seen a full match between the teams already and now setting up another match later on.

I liked the shorter matches as well. There was one longish match and the rest were too the point. Save the long matches for PPV. I’d rather get more superstars involved with more stories on TV
