I didn’t watch and when I read this I wondered how you could be so excited about Daniel Brian vs Michael Cole...then I realized I had the wrong Cole

Don't let WWE hear that. Just a matter of time before someone in WWE suggests Adam w/ 'UnCole'

Re: WWE Friday Night Smackdown November Thread

Sad that it took a bunch of main roster talent being stuck in garbage countries for them to actually utilize and interweave other on-hand talent.

I know they like "night after Wrestlemania" cookie-cutter crap but imagine they did things like what we saw on random shows throughout the year. You know, create a reason to actually watch week-to-week?

And hey, how about instead of relying on part-time losers and gimmicks and building for dumb, unnecessary house shows to cater to unnecessary audiences you stay building interest in and showcasing your legitimate, real talent and not ****ting on all their efforts? Novel concept, I know.

I just don't get why it took special circumstances to put on a good show. The point this should all show is that if you build your roster properly and drum up interest properly, you don't NEED to rely on people like Cain Velasquez or Brock Lesnar or Goldberg or running (and spending weeks of your regular programming building for) shows in ****ty countries halfway around the world to maintain your business.

Re: WWE Friday Night Smackdown November Thread

Seems like everyone liked the last minute Smackdown rewritten episode. I thought it was different with the NXT usage and I can't complain. Just happy to see a show that doesn't seem to have Vince and Kevin Dunn's input on it. NXT straight up buried whoever was available for Smackdown after the blood money show. The Cole/Bryan match was a good match too. Sucks we didnt get to see the Fiend with the Universal Title though. Hoping for an explanation on this since he is technically a Smackdown superstar. Unless Brock Lesnar quitting Smackdown was a way to switch the Titles around. Whatever the case, since everyone enjoyed this week's show, thats all that matters.

Bayley is the ultimate going-through-the-motions heel on twitter lol. But hey, she has the belt, and that's all that seems to matter to keep her happy.

2.54 million viewers.

Up 1.6 million over last week (who didn't know what FS1 was, I guess) and up a little more than 100k from two weeks ago on the main network.

Re: WWE Friday Night Smackdown November Thread

That HHH promo to end the show reminded me of a combination between his DX promo(the night after WM when HBK left) and the Heyman promo the night ECW joined the invasion.

He even used similar lines in the NXT and DX promo.

Yup. 2.5 is probably going to be around their baseline/average number. Sorta like how 2.2 was their base on Tuesday USA. And last weeks number was an outlier.
