By having Brock Lesnar, the WWE Champion enter the Royal Rumble NUMBER ONE.

Is the WWE Championship going to be on the line here or what? That means another month of the title not being defended. I have a feeling this is going to set up Lesnar's opponent for Mania. Brock gets eliminated by whoever he faces at Mania. He still could face whoever wins the Rumble but I think the Rumble winner challenges for the Universal Championship.

I like it, the fewer Lesnar singles matches the better. I’m curious to see how it’s booked since he typically doesn’t compete for more than 5-10 minutes

Seeing how they didnt even put the title on the line, I'm guessing Lesnar loses.

Gets cost the rumble match by whoever will challenge him.

Maybe McIntyre? Nobody else that hasnt faced him that I'd care about as much.

He did say nobody on Raw,SD or NXT. Maybe the challenger is a returning star? Does Cena cost him the rumble and win #17 at WM?

CM Punk? Punk willing to work a match with Lesnar since he would be working with Heyman again for the angle. Cena would be interesting, but all this tells me is Cain or Tyson Fury will eliminate Brock to set up the match for Mania. I'd much rather it be Cena winning # 17 in April or even Punk/Lesnar II at Mania than Cain or Fury. It just seems it's leaning toward Cain or Fury.

I wouldn't mind Lesnar vs Cain, but only if they make it a steel cage or lions den match.

Punk is the only one of those potential opponents you listed that could have a match with Lesnar that the Wrestlemania crowd wouldn’t **** all over

With that being said I think there is a zero percent chance it’s Punk
