LOLOL

Yeah, that match was all over the place and I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing.

I understand the constraints created by the pandemic, but they need to start knocking these PPV's out the park if the pricing won't decrease. This is the second PPV from AEW I've purchased and felt underwhelmed.

The lack of a crowd (and my brother's constant talking) didn't help, but that felt like a middle of the road PPV.

The stadium match looked entertaining from Twitter GIFs. Gonna have to find a way to watch it eventually.

I hope they figure out some kind of streaming platform option for their PPVs soon. I really wanna watch them but I’ll never pay $50 for a wrestling PPV again

I saw on Twitter Jake the Snake got scared off by Mike Tyson. JR said Jake soiled his pants.

It was like 98 except not good.

$50 is steep but remember there are only 4 ppvs a year.

They should package them all for $100 for my cheap ways

Good show last night. I can't say it was great because there was a lot of sloppy going on.

Pros:
MJF is the future of this company, and maybe if professional wrestling. The kid is good.

Jungle Boy. He might be small, but he will be a key player in the company as well. He is definitely going to be in that TNT Division and the Tag Division for years to come. I could totally see a feel good moment of him winning the big one a few years down the line.

Brian Cage. That's about it. They NEEDED someone like him. They have Luchasaurus, Wardlow, Brodie Lee and Lance Archer...but none of them look like Cage. Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage at Fight for the Fallen is the perfect match for Moxley to lose the title.

Stadium Stampede. That whole thing was just glorious! Tremendous cinematic match! Sammy is going to be up there with MJF and Jungle Boy. He is a star in the making. I am excited to see how they split Omega and Page. One has to turn heel and leave The Elite.

Women's Match. Hard hitting match and I am happy Nyla doesnt have the belt any longer. Was hoping for Britt to be the one to eventually take it, but I like Shida.

Cons:
Whatever the hell that Spears and Rhodes match was. That can be left off a PPV. It wasn't a breather match, it was just ****. Spears doesn't belong wrestling in a bigger company. He has his wrestling school, and should be an agent or trainer. Rhodes still has 3-5 years in the tank I bet.

The Casino Ladder Match. Okay do not get me wrong. I liked this format way more than their battle royal. However, it just fell flat. I'm sure Fenix getting injured did not help, but I fell flat. I love me some Orange Cassidy, though. Him and Cage helped this match quite a bit.

Darby Allin. He is going to be the Jeff Hardy/risk taker of the company. That's fun and all, but I don't need to see the guy almost die three times in one singles match. Save it for a massive spot. That's my main gripe with AEW. WAY too many spots for spots sake.

Private Party are green as a garden hose. No thanks on them for awhile. Loved the Shad and JTG tribute, though.

7.5/10 show. Was solid, but had it's faults.

True, but the biggest company gives you 12 PPV's (or more) for $120. Now, that could change for the "Big Four" but that would likely be sometime next year.

Re: AEW Presents Double or Nothing - 5/23/20

The TNT title was underwhelming.

Good news, it actually isn't complete. The maker of the title said they weren't able to get everything they needed to make it but will do so once things resume.

If it ends up being like the image I've seen online, it will look much better.

Would've been fine with TNT being written in gold lettering, but I guess they want it black to match their logo.
