Did I say that the releases are the reason why this pandemic sucks? No. I am talking about the trickle down effect it has caused. From our beloved sports being suspended, our daily lives and everything else around us is being affected. It all started because of that fricken virus. Thats what I'm talking about. Thats why I specifically said in the previous post that I wished that virus never happened. It lead to many other stuff happening. These releases are purely made because of budgetary reasons.

Re: WWE Releases

More names being released. So far it seems like just PC ones.

Always a chance we hear of more after SD.

Seeing how he's not competing, Reigns almost for sure has to be furloughed. Don't know if that technically means he'll be on the same list as others. Not like he's getting outright released like Angle and Helms (who probably will be back anyways), but he won't be on active roster either.

If they were to furlough Regins after talking about how they aren't pressuring anyone to perform who isn't comfortable, that would be a big PR hit, I'd think. Especially given his extremely valid medical concerns (might even be illegal)

Speaking of PR hits and possible illegal moves, didnt they release Maria who is on mat leave after giving birth just 2 months prior?

A little over three months. And if they have a 90 day non-compete, I believe that means they get paid their downside guarantee through that too. So that'd put her a little more than 5 months out when they're actually off payroll. But even still, yeah, that's rough.
