2020 WWE Draft

Nothing confirmed yet, but HHH said a draft would be happening later this year. Given how Survivor Series is all but likely keeping the brands vs brands theme, I'd imagine they'd have the draft before then (would be weird having brand vs brand vs brand at SS just for guys to move brands the next night...unless they make the draft revolve around those SS matches, like the winning brand of each match gets a draft pick).

Who would you like to see moved to Raw/SD/NXT? Dont know how big draft is. Could be a few picks, could be more.

WWE confirms the draft happening starting on October 9th on SD and ending the following Monday on Raw.

Sounds like the regular WWE draft where a handful of names switch brands.

It's 2 days before the draft and (so far) nothing has spoiled.

Although nothing will be as funny as when WWE themselves spoiled the entire draft on their own website by having all the eligible names on their site, in the exact order they were to be selected on TV

I expect this to continue to be spectacularly stupid. People will just show up and if it wasn’t for the announcer making a big deal everyone would have forgotten they weren’t already on the show to begin with.

I'm guessing we see obvious ones like Strowman to Raw and Banks to SD.

NXT doesn't seem involved in the draft, but if Ember can just suddenly appear on NXT, I guess technically they can have anyone just wind up on NXT.

I originally said names like Ricochet and Apollo should go to NXT, and now after seeing what Ali is doing, those 2 really have nothing else to do so might as well be in NXT.

I'd love seeing Ricochet vs Balor for NXT title. Prince vs Prince.

WWE announces the "rules" for the draft.

It sounds like a full draft. Raw gets 3 picks, SD gets 2 for every round.

A pool of superstars are eligible on each night.

Names who are out like Charlotte,Elias and Bryan are part of the list, names like Becky,Ivar,Jimmy Uso aren't. The Mysterios count as a tag team(aka 1 draft pick), Lana/Natalya count as 2 picks.

It's the eligible superstars per each show. So part 1 of the draft on SD will have a draft based on the superstars eligible on Friday. Part 2 takes place on Raw using the eligible names from the monday pool.

Sheamus & Big E just destroyed their bodies and put on a great match. They need to give Big E the IC Title to bide him time until the Rumble, win the Rumble then challenge Roman for the Universal Championship at Mania.

I get the feeling Sasha loses tonight, gets drafted to RAW splitting Bayley & Sasha just enough to pause the feud until Mania time.

That FCA match was brutal. Clearly both guys cut from the glass.

That's a nice stipulation. I quit inside HIAC. I've been saying for years that WWE needs to combine stipulations.

Great to see the New Day all together but I get the feeling Kofi saying they are back together again says they will be split up.

At this point, just keep them together until the end. Once Kofi retires he gets to ride off into the sunset and Woods is the mouthpiece for Big E.

Sadly, the feud will be over when Rollins is gone. So we won't get any sort of Rollins feud besides the same bad Mysterio one.

Only a matter of time before we see the Career vs Careers match between Rollins and Mysterios.

I am curious if Murphy is going to head to SD too. I imagine since he's in the soon to be love storyline with Rey's daughter, he'll be drafted to SD too. Wouldn't mind a Ric Flair vs Mr. Perfect Loser Leaves WWE storyline between Rollins and Murphy where Rollins puts Murphy over before leaving on maternity leave.
