WWE Raw & Smackdown December Thread

We have 1 more SD tonight (and 1 more Raw on Monday) inside the Thunderdome before WWE moves next week into the Thunderdome!

That Pat Patterson “My Way” video got me a bit. You can tell how much he was loved by everyone and especially Vince. This has been one of the nicest tribute nights they’ve done.

He was literally the godfather to Stephanie McMahon, so he obviously meant so much to the McMahon family.

No disrespect to other deaths in WWE, but this one definitely has one of those big impacts around all parts of WWE. He was around WWE in some capacity for 40 years.

Enjoyed the Roman/Usos/Owens stuff on Smackdown. Roman continues to knock it out of the park with this heel persona. So memorable compared to his goody generic goldenboy persona we had to endure for years. Felt bad for Jey to still get pummeled by his Tribal Chief post match though. But this does make you want to see someone finally dethrone Roman someday. The 6 man tag team match was fun with everyone playing their role and Ziggler doing what he does best, which is sell. I guess Bryan is going to feud with Zayn again for the IC Title. That Carmella/Sasha segment was nice too with Carmella saying some deep stuff that had to hurt Sasha's feelings. You know, the ones who have to work so hard to get recognized but others are chosen over that hard worker. Other than that, Smackdown was just average. AEW Dynamite had every show beat this week.

Tonight's the final show inside the Thunderdome!

This weeks SD will take place from the NEW Thunderdome, which based on early pics looks like the old Thunderdome.

Sheamus & Drew fighting and beating the hell out of each other. Pat Buck comes to separate them and Sheamus with a great reaction, "Is this guy serious?" and then he and Drew put him through a table for his effort lol. Love the ending through...

Drew: Drinks?
Sheamus: Yeah, this time you're buying you cheap (can't say the word here)
Drew: *Busts out laughing as they walk away*

I like the McIntyre/Sheamus duo. Sure, they'll probably end up fighting each other in an actual match sometime in the future, but enjoy their friendship for now.

Obviously the ending of RAW was pre-taped but that was still a great transition from Bray to The Fiend. They need to keep taking advantage of having no crowds and doing stuff like this with The Fiend.

I wonder if this will be a one time match for TLC or if this will continue into the Royal Rumble between Orton & The Fiend.
