Congrats to Ricochet!

I really wanted to see Sami go against Knoxville with the title on the line, just to drive the IWC, bloggers, etc. nuts, but Ricochet having a 'Mania match (possibly against Sheamus) could be epic.

That was a fun, exciting match even if I'm not a huge fan of Knoxville interfering on behalf of the babyface.

Loved that opening match. Zayn v Knoxville doesn’t need the title and I’m happy for Richochet. Hopefully he gets to shine at Mania.

Theory being jealous of Mcafee is a nice angle to set up that match.

The most amazing thing about the releases the past two years and who they released, the fact Ricochet was not one of them at all surprised me. Now he's the new IC Champion, and I'm glad WWE came to their senses with Knoxville competing for a title. I think Ricochet can have a fun feud with Sheamus but you can also do a fun Ladder Match for the title too. Hopefully this is the start of something for Ricochet.

I guess the WWE is listening to me. I been begging for a IC Title change which happened when Zayn won it from Shinsuke. Then ask for Ricochet to be in the IC Title scene which happens and now he wins the Title off Zayn on this week's Smackdown. That was a decent match they had and the Knoxville distraction made sense with Zayn feuding with him at the moment. Everyone was guessing for Austin Theory to be Pat McAfee's opponent for WM so I'm in favor of this happening. That promo from Roman Reigns was fire. Remember when he couldn't talk back then? The Usos need fresh opponents for their Tag Team Titles though. Ronda Rousey's debut Smackdown match was a good one too. Pretty much a squash match on Sonya Deville but it did the trick.

The rest of the show was okay. It set up stuff for the other feuds. Drew McIntrye is still getting good booking. I do wish they had something better for Sasha Banks to do. She deserves better than go after the Tag Team Titles again.

Fun episode of RAW. The RAW Tag Title Match was fun, great ending sequence. Edge had a nice promo, similar to Batista with the Spotlight on him. You know it's Wrestlemania season when they start cramming Superstars into matches, hopefully Sasha & Naomi still come out victorious.

So Owens calling out Austin to be on the most Stupendous KO Show at Wrestlemania, makes more sense doing that then a match. So with that said, it leaves Seth still without a match for Mania. Perhaps Seth needs a Star to light his path to Wrestlemania.

Gonna try to catch this episode of RAW sometime this week, but just saw the highlight of Omos squashing Apollo.

Poor Apollo, finally finds a character that works, goes on a bit of a "hot streak" (winning the IC belt) and a year later is back to being enhancement talent.........SMDH

Decent episode of RAW this week. Opening segment and match took up the first 40 minutes of the show. But it was an enjoyable tag team Title match with RKBro winning the Titles. That post match promo from Randy Orton was something different for sure. He told the WWE Universe that he is enjoying this ride and his words mean it. Riddle is that darn good at what he does by making this tag team work as well. Tamina kissing Akira Tozawa was weird but at least this gives everyone something to do in the 24/7 Title picture. Edge's entrance was different and so was his ring attire. Another solid promo from him though. Why are Liv Morgan and Rhey Ripley tag teaming again? Did I miss a segment or two? And holy hell does Rhea look ripped compared to the other ladies in that tag team match. Austin Theory/Finn Balor was another solid match. Theory is shining lately and I do get a kick out of his post match selfie gimmick. Lastly, Kevin Owens is calling out Stone Cold for WM. We will see if Austin responds.

So is the KO show with Austin just gonna be a talk show leading to a stunner? Or an actual match?

I wouldn't be mad with that. I know people are hoping for a Stone Cold return match, but after seeing the likes of Flair, HBK and others coming back after what was a perfect sendoff, I'd be fine with no Austin return match.

Although, if they want to have some 20 min long segment, go ahead. Given all the names KO mentioned, perhaps Austin brings in JBL,HBK,Booker to get one in on KO too.

Ehhhhhhh I went from “oh this could be cool” to “who cares” I’ve seen SC come out and stun people in street clothes for years. Would have been more fun if they kept it an “obvious surprise”

Maybe it'll be an "unsanctioned" brawl/match so it technically doesn't count against his loss to the Rock?

For me, him not doing it - which is good if he feels he physically can't have a match - gives more credence to building up a younger talent or two (if that makes sense).

Give us Austin Theory having a "star making" match/moment against McAfee, a surprise call - up in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal winning and another young talent going over big.

Stop hanging onto the greatness/nostalgia of the Attitude Era (and past) and find your next big star(s).
