WWE RAW & Smackdown July Thread

From Las Vegas to Nashville with RAW & Smackdown inbetween, we are gearing up for a busy month of July for WWE. Tonight, the Go-Home Show for MITB is live from Phoenix, AZ just 24 hours from the MITB PPV. Following MITB tomorrow night, WWE will continue their build to Summerslam which takes place for the first time ever in the month of July on Saturday July 30th.

- Smackdown becomes Survivor Series as the 6 of the 7 Competitors in the Women's MITB Match will face off in a 6 Woman Tag. Smackdown's Raquel Rodridguez, Lacey Evans and Shotzi team up to face RAW's Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan and Asuka.

- The Viking Raiders made their return sending a message to the whole Tag Division as they took out The New Day. Tonight, Kofi & Xavier look for revenge against the Viking Raiders whose new change in attitude hopes to lead them to Glory in the Tag Division.

- What twists and turns will see on the road to Nashville, TN and Summerslam following the crowning of new Mr. & Mrs. MITB? Will the winner of the Women's MITB hold the briefcase for longer than 24 hours?

- Will the winner of the Men's MITB Match be a visionary willing to cash in during the Last Man Standing Match? Perhaps the winner bides his time and settles for a Clash with the Champion later? Or will we see a surprise winner like Sheamus, Sami Zayn or Omos? Who will be the final entrant?

God, who came up with this horrible gimmick?

Pat & "Mihael" Cole. Becky's going at them.

And this whole thing makes no sense. They have a random battle royal to kick off SD and Corbin wins.

Then during the show they mention the vacancy in the MITB match. The solution? Give it to the winner of the battle royal right?

No, they have a fatal 4 way featuring 4 guys who were literally just in the battle royal earlier in the night.

If they give a Velveteen Dream like gimmick to Ma.cé then it could be cool.

But I can't believe they made Max Dupris into this after seeing what LA Knight could do on the mic. He was one of the best mic guys WWE has had in ages and this is what they do to him.

Overbooking for a pretty forgettable go - home show, Maj.

It was dumb but they obviously needed to fill time.

If they get in the ring and aren't instantly jobbers (I think they will be) while letting Eli/Dupri work his magic on the mic they have a very, very small chance of working.

It feels like another gimmick that is destined to fail, but Doudrop, Ezekiel and Madcap Moss all "got over" or have some relevancy with a initially **** gimmick.

I wouldn't say Doudrop has done anything really.

Ezekiel has been much better than people thought, although once the story with Owens is over, I dont see how else to keep that character going since the main part of the character is "I'm Elias' younger brother".
