I'm rather new to the game, but I have it on and in one of my matches my guy ended the match with a blood spot in the middle of his forehead with trickles of blood running down.

It seems to work better than last year. I busted Bret Hart open and he became a bloody mess during our SS match. PS4 version BTW.

Yes, it works better. Even had bloody fist and blood on body parts that flow.

Had a match where Stone Cold busted open Brock Lesnar by Lou Thesz Press.
What was interesting was a little bit later Stone Cold had animation where it looked like he was wiping his face and looking at his hand to check if the blood was his or not.

Update: nm, it was just coincidental. I saw this happen with Cena and there was no one busted open.

Is it guaranteed blood in every match with it on? Last year I turned it off, because someone would always get busted open during majority of my matches. These days it's rare to see blood constantly in regular WWE programming.

Awesome, I might have to turn it on and give it a try. The gameplay so far has been great in this game. Last year, I would squash 90% of my universe matches just to get to the cut scenes. This year I'm actually playing the matches straight up. The gameplay is making up the short falls of Universe Mode.

I messed up Finn last night. He had blood all over his face and chest and my hands were covered in it after the match.

Confirm blood is turned on.

I think it's off by default. I had to turn it on to see it.

I wish they'd have blood spots in the ring though, that'd be a nice touch
