HELP! WHAT IS THE BEST WRESTLING VIDEO GAME TO WATCH?

I remember back on N64 they had wrestlers come out and interfere in matches, etc. Rivals, random peopel starting rivals, etc. It was great.

This year Universe mode is good - but there's no excitement like that. It's just creating matches and then if there's no rivals - nothing happens and cut screens suck.

So my question is... what is the best wrestling game in terms of watcihng? I havej't had a chance to play video games very much lately but my brother is flying into town next weekend. Im okay with buying a old system or whatever else is needed to play a wrestling game where we could create a wrestler, do title matches, and other fun stuff where it's our own made up universe on pen and paper - but just watch the matches.

Any advice on what wrestling game to get?

My personal fave is Fire Pro Wrestling Returns (PS2/PS3), if only for the fact that you can tweak the CPU AI to behave pretty much exactly how you want. Not to mention 500 save slots so that you can create nearly anyone and everyone you can think of. That only thing it's really missing is modern moves/finishers.

This is the only proper answer.

That said, 500 slots seems like a massive amount until you try to create the entirety of wrestling history in the game. Trust me, been there, done that.
