    Commentary needs the biggest overhaul!!

    Hey guys,

I'm really keen on getting commentary a big focus for the 2k series for 2k18! There has been so many great changes to gameplay over the last couple of years and the commentary really is more exposed now than it ever has been. This is what i would like to see:

    1. Genuine, razor sharp commentary to fit the match. A big part of my excitement watching WWE is from the enthusiasm from the commentators. Near falls, chair hits, referees being down, interruptions, jumping off ladders, victories, title wins etc are all big drama points in matches and this should be reflected in the commentary. I saw this video earlier, and it makes the actually look incredible.

    2. If they are unable to get the team in to record, can the commentary be built from existing recorded lines from actual matches? I've also thought, the sections of commentary in showcase mode sound so much more life like than the normal modes.

For me commentary for 2k18 is beyond vital, it hasn't truly been focused on in years and would really would change the whole dynamic of the game. There is nothing less immersive than having a great back and forth match, lasting 15 minutes, with a handful of close near falls, for the victory to finally be met with no reaction or discussing something totally unrelated. If you feel the same guys, then we need to let 2k know about this.

    Cheers

    James.

You would think with it being a 2K game that commentary would get a huge overhaul. I hate not having Young Boy Tom and Corey Graves not calling NXT, with what they're doing with NBA 2K there is no excuse not to have at least two different commentary teams, I'm with you something needs to be done about commentary bad.
    Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Never let fear determine who you are. Never let where you came from determine where you are going.

Check that video man - they could use that audio and edit the wrestler specific lines out of it....the passion and and realness of it would be off the scales.....it genuinely looks real, imagine playing with that kind of commentary

I've taken a look at commentary files on the PC version because I thought about doing a WCW conversion with Tony and Heenan/Tenay... Man. It's such a cluster**** of files. Nothing is organized, everything is scattered like they shuffled 10-20 music playlists with hundreds of clips for each playlist. It really makes sense to why commentary is so awkward.

A WCW conversion would be awesome. I never could get used to the wwe announcers. So much that they are one reason it's so hard for me to get into wwe
