Any Interest in a Monday Night Wars Game?

So I've been going through Raw from the beginning on the Network and I've finally made it to 2000 which is one of my favorite points of WWE history. Watching all this Attitude Era content has been making me itchy to play some Attitude Era stuff. I don't have access to Wrestlemania 2000 or No Mercy and all the other games that came out during that time don't really hold up to being very enjoyable today and I'd much rather play on the consoles we have today. Community Creations just isn't doing things justice for me even though there are some solid creations on there.

So what I'm thinking, wouldn't it be great to have a game that's strictly based on the Monday Night Wars? Similar to how Legends of Wrestlemania was released separate of the main Smackdown game, you could have this version that featured a full fledged roster that could allow us a proper recreation of the Monday Night Wars. With a roster the size of the current WWE games rosters and DLC, we could get all the major players and midcarders from WWF, WCW and even some ECW guys to finally really enjoy that era of wrestling since the hardware back then was nothing compared to what we have now.

Am I the only one that would absolutely be down for this type of experience?

Didn't WWE '13 have a ton of Attitude Era wrestlers or last year's WWE 2K15?

I love nostalgia as much as the next wrestling fan, but really don't see the need for such a niché title.

Yeah 13 had a lot of WWE era Attitude guys, but they were missing a lot of the undercard guys as well which I think helped make the era. There was no Dudleys, no Hardys, no Kurt Angle, D'Lo Brown, Test, Albert. There was also a severe lack of WCW's perspective of the Monday Night War.

It's hard to put together a truly great '97, '98, '99 or '00 era Universe in the current games with all of the current stars taking up roster spots. The number of creation slots just aren't enough for you to properly fill out those eras with WWE and WCW talent, in addition to getting any guys left off the current rosters if you want a separate Universe for the current era. Same with old school arenas. Whereas I think it would be beneficial for everyone if the current games weren't held back by having to include past stars on their rosters because there is another game (which doesn't have to be yearly mind you) for that.

I'd love this, provided that it didn't take the same approach to gameplay as LoW. That game was a blast to play but it felt like it was very much in the arcade camp in terms of gameplay. Good for some pick up and play time but not great for being a part of my regular rotation.

But, yes, I'd love to have something like that. Licensing issues would be a nightmare, I'd guess.

Honestly, if this was made, it would be the only way I would purchase this game again.

I literally could not relive the attitude era more than iv already done.


Somehow having FAINT memories of that era is better than constantly analyzing it in detail.

Now if we're talking a HUGE showcase mode then I'm down
