WWE 2K19 Community Impressions

Played for the first time last night. Just had a few quick matches with Goldberg.

1st thing to be excited about - Evolution is actually a pre-made team and their theme is now in the game!!!

TONS of wrestlers to choose from this year, spoiled for choice, though not sure why I seem to have EVERYONE except Roddy Piper. I got the standard edition and still have Ric Flair, Macho man, The Dragon etc all available for use (Even though I thought they were exclusive to the woo edition), but no Hot Rod. Strange.

Speed change seems to be well received here but I'm taking a while to get used to it. I'm more of a sim, slow it down kind of guy.

Still a little upset they ditched Booker T for 'King Booker'. That kinda hit me hard. No more 'Can you dig ....SUKKKKA!'

Almost a deal breaker when I couldn't find the Wolfpack theme in the game, but lucky enough, Sting still has it, so crisis averted.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with this years game. Think it's a keeper.

Wow I’m pleasantly surprised by the game. I wasn’t originally going to get it because I’ve gotten bored with it after only a couple weeks the last two years. But the single player story intrigued me. But wow the matches are so much fun this year. Everything is much faster but I’m still getting fun and epic finishes. The Towers i can see holding my interest for awhile, that’s a really cool addition. And while I didn’t think I’d be as into the Daniel Bryan showcase I’m surprisingly sucked in. The interview format with Daniel is phenomenal.

Been toying with a few settings I like having "default health" on medium for tv matches in my universe. Matches don't have to go 20 minutes, save that for the PPV's lads lol.

I also watch most of the matches so helps to blast through them quite quickly too.

Anybody having problems with the Sound going in and out? Playing MyCareer and its been happening a lot lately...may reboot the Xbox and restart the game.

The last WWE 2K game I purchased was WWE 2K12 (Wrestlemania mode, The Rock on the cover). Enjoyed it.

Would this be a substantial upgrade? Interested in MyCareer, Universe mode, DL user created wrestlers etc (PS4).

Hope someone can answer this but have a couple questions. About the end of Career mode

After you win the Universal Title does the game just always have 4 Wrestlers standing there and Kurt Angle with the same options for matches or does something else finally happen?

and also is there a way to Export MyCareer player so I can put him in Universe mode or will I have to make him over? If I have to make him over i'll probably just stop playing MyCareer for a bit and start customizing Universe Mode
