This game is costing me a lot of sleep, which is resulting in lost work productivity. I had no choice but to deduct .5 from my rating on behalf of my employer.

Best football game I have played since the FPS series. Requires thought, planning, luck, and savvy, just like you might expect in real life. I knock off .5 points because some of the superstar players are a little too powerful compared with their run-of-the-mill colleagues. Otherwise, this game is a delight and will keep me playing it through the season.*

* "The season" here referring to next year's baseball season!

Fantastic! Needs to be patched for a few bugs...especially fumbles...but as engrossing a game as you'll find. True digital crack!

really looking forward to this game, enjoyed the first one and by the looks of things it look like there are large improvements so this should be a good one.

The release of this game goes a long way concerning the revitalization of simulation football. It not only marks a shift in EA's thinking regarding in-depth simulation football games, but it also is an open acknowledgement of hardcore simulation fans everywhere (a market the gaming industry has not fully embraced). If your a X's & O's football guy, then NFL Head Coach is your dgital gridiron heaven!

A must have.
