the best sports game around, possibly ever.

Still looks stunningly real. The look and feel are spectacular. A superb platform.

Despite this, MLB 10 loses marks due to:

A) Only incremental improvements annually since MLB 08

and

B) There was no demo + it shipped to stores with many bugs that will only be fixed by later patches available online. For offline users that is a tough $60.

Best baseball game on the market. Forget MLB 2K and their gimmicky analog pitching (How does moving the analog stick in a circle translate into accuracy of a pitch? At least a timing meter makes sense to the game of baseball)

Too buggy for a 10

Not only does this game provide a compelling atmosphere to cure baseball sickness over the winter, it gives an excellent groundbase to improve upon for next year. Although bugs and glitches are scattered throughout this game, RTP, Progressive Lighting, Superior graphics, and intelligent gameplay prove this game to be the best of the year.

Would have given near a 10 if the bugs weren't present out of the box.

Even with the bugs that have been mentioned, this is still a great game of baseball to play...still get the wow factor with graphics/animations and some great plays. If you have a PS3 you must own this game!

Once they fix the issues in franchise, this will hopefully be a lot better game. It's disappointing to not be able to play franchise right out of the box.

The best just got better. This game looks and plays like a dream. Side note-I just played 2K10 to compare. It's not even close. Kudos SCEA!!!!

i dont like this game because the commentary is just horrible(besides the play by play) and commentary is very important to me to keep my interest down the road and its a long season.Theirs a lot about it that really hasnt changed from last year, but it is a very solid game of baseball and definitely the best looking baseball game to date bar non.The realtime presentation was a waste of time its better to just leave it off cause you dont see all those nice cutscenes in realtime mode that you do in the regular mode.I really want to enjoy this game but for some reason after a month of playing im bored with it and even though the game was buggy last year i played mlb2K09 more because i really enjoyed the commentary and it kept my interest and this year mlb2K10's commentary is off the charts compared to mlb10 the show but mlb10 the show overall is still the king of baseball.
