Through the first week of spring training.

Things have not gone so well offensively yet for the Dodgers as the opening game of spring training they got rocked by the White Sox 9-0 and Chris Sale gave up 0 hits in his first spring start. The only win so far being against Oakland on March 8th. Said Mark Ellis after the game who had a grand slam "that was a good game for us to get our offense finally going" after being shutout the previous two games. While there are still a lot of 000's in most hitters averages there is still a whole 4 weeks of spring training to go I'm sure GM Jim Shaw will use his scouts to tell who to send to the minors and who to leave up.

This being a direct quote from Jim Shaw " I really like the bullpen we have going for us so far this spring Mike McDougal, Rubby De La Rosa, and Javy Guerra have all impressed me in the games I've watched so far. The battle for catcher at this point in the early spring seems to be in AJ Ellis' favor as he has handled the pitchers somewhat well".

The men in blue are off today but have their next game against the Cubs at Camelback Ranch in Glendale. So support your LA Dodgers if you're in the area.
