My first 360 game...

So i'm gonna buy a 360 when i get home from vacation in two weeks. I intended for my first purchase to be NCAA 10, but that isn't gonna happen anymore. I will not pay $60 for mediocrity. $60 is alot of money for a working college student, so I want a product that I can play and not get upset with. From what I've read and heard from just about everybody, this is a franchise that seems to be headed in the wrong direction.

I remember when I first played NCAA 2002 at friends house in the fall of 2001. I was 11 at the time and I had never been so floored by a sports game. To me, it was perfect but somehow the game got better and better until the next gen consoles came out.

What we were left with was an amazing game. I saw things in the game that I saw on Saturday's in the fall. Corso and his hats? C'Mon? Really? To me that's what made the game so special.

I figured that with the Next gen consoles, EA would take that next step. Maybe an actual College Gameday Presentation from where the game of the week was being played, or College Gameday Final with Mark May and Coach Lou. ESPN is College football. USE THE LISENCE TO ITS FULL CAPABILITY!!!

So now I'll wait till Madden drops, and if I hear the same from my fellow gamers about Madden that I did withh NCAA, I'll skip that too. I'm optimistic but stretched thin. I want to be blown away again. I miss that feeling.

And if Madden fails, I'll buy Fallout 3 and wait for 2k and Live to battle it out.

Man, if you just wait for a ringing internet approval for games...you may as well not get the 360 because you'll NEVER have any games to play.

CH2k8 should be your 1st purchase and at $10 you can't go wrong. Followed by APF 2k8 for $5.99!!!!

I wasn't really looking for ringing approval by everyone, but when so many people report problems and the presentation isn't as good as the last gen games, i don't see the point in spending $60.
