If anyone knows where I can pick up Madden '10 in the Bowling Green or Glasgow, KY area, please let me know. I've got the bug since playing the short demo.

Thanks.

I made the trip to Bowling Green and the Reds Winter Caravan and waited in line for about 1/2 an hour. They were just about right on time and we were all told that we could only have 1 thing signed per player. There were about 200 people on hand, more or less. Now the fun starts.

After going through the line and signing up for the giveaways we finally got to Devin Mesoraco (2007 #1 Pick), Brandon Phillips, Bob Miller (VP/Asst. GM), Marty Brennaman, Chris Welsh, and Lee May.

Anyone that has a copy they would like to get rid of, please feel free to PM me. The prices on EBAY are too steep for me right now.

A busy Monday around Major League Baseball. This January is shaping up to be the busiest in years.

Pat Burrell has signed a reported 2 year deal for 16 million with the American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays. That is substantially lower that what Burrell made the last few years. I think we are seeing the market finally correct itself. It's a great deal for Tampa. Pat the Bat is a good hitter and fits well.

The Chicago Cubs signed OF Milton Bradley for a reported ... Read More

1 year, 8 million dollars for Randy Johnson. Johnson will join the San Francisco rotation behind Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain. Johnson could earn up to 3 million in performance bonuses.

Yes, that Willy Tavares. The Reds sign Tavares to a 2 year deal. Expect him to play a decent center and make a whole lot of outs. He's fast and can steal a base, but I have yet to see anyone steal first. These are the kind of deals that leave the Reds in the bottom of the NL Central.

Merry Christmas everyone. Today, I want to know what you would like for you MLB team to get this off season. Is it in the form of a trade or would you like your team to sign Sheets, Lowe, Pettitte, Abreu, Dunn, or Bradley?

What would you like to see your team do before Spring Training?

From ESPN.com

Free-agent first baseman Mark Teixeira has reached agreement with the New York Yankees on an eight-year contract worth more than $170 million, two sources involved in the negotiations tell ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney.

The Yankees swooped in on the 28-year-old Teixeira on Tuesday when it was believed the Boston Red Sox or the Washington Nationals were the likeliest to be his future employer. The Red Sox's offer was believed to be in the range of $170 ... Read More

Welcome to my blog everyone. I hope this is the first of many to be posted here on OS. Today I am going to take a look at the Hot Stove rumblings from around Major League Baseball.

-Mark Teixeira (1B)

The latest on the saga that is free agent Mark Teixeira is that the Washington Nationals have upped their offer for the first baseman to somewhere in the vicinity of 8 years and $184 million. The Nationals are said to be willing to give the slugger a 9 or 10 year deal ... Read More

I just want to let anyone that is interested know that I will start blogging soon. It will be geared towards Major League Baseball and all that involves. I'll probably have something within the next day or so about what has happened this offseason to date and what I see going on before Spring Training. I'll likely start with the Cincinnati Reds, of course, and just see where I go from there.
