Mutant Football League Changes Platforms, Pricing Stuck

After a slow start in its opening week of fundraising, Mutant Football League, a proposed sequel to the Sega Genesis game, Mutant League Football, has restructured its pricing tiers and announced support for additional platforms:

$2 -- iOS or Android version only
$13 -- Digital PC version (STEAM) only
$15 -- Digital PC version (STEAM) + mobile version
$25 -- Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 digital download + all previous tiers

To speed up development of Mutant Football League, which had originally planned to be a July 2015 release, the game will now be built using Run Games' Football Heroes engine. Back in August, Operation Sports had a hands-on preview of Football Heroes, which is currently undergoing private beta testing.

Building Mutant Football League on top of an existing game engine "should [allow us] to deliver the PC and mobile products in late 2014," according to Michael Mendheim, the creative director of Mutant Football League and original creator of Mutant League Football. It also means Mutant Football League will feature a side-scrolling camera angle instead of the original vertical field view from the 1993 Sega Genesis game.

Bones Jackson was a beat for the Midway Monsters. Just sayin.

Monsters were definitely my go-to team. Unfortunately, Bones Jackson was just as fragile as the real Bo Jackson, as you had to sub Bones out after two plays or he would die. And if Bo did die, the rest of the Monsters' offense was pretty weak.

You should also state that the kickstarter EXTREMELY needs support, because without the support, it's going to miss it's 750K goal, by a crapload. 17 days left, not even at 100K of the goal. Michael needs every donation.
