Xboxyde and Playsyde Update (360, PS3)

Xboxyde and Playsyde have posted the following:

Boxing Manager in November (PC)

GamingGroove has the scoop.
"The aim: taking your prize fighters all the way to the top and win world championship belts of all three federations. Starting out with a small team and three unknown, talented fighters, managers will train the boxers, sign on new up-and-comers and expert staff from around the world, set up bouts and determine tactics and techniques before and during the events. As the game progresses, players will be able to train manage up to 30 fighters at the same time ? only if they are successful and form talented amateurs into hardened professionals will they be able to earn coveted titles in all the well-known weight classes."

Eurogamer Update (Multi)

Eurogamer has posted the following:
  • Is videogaming a sport?
"Videogaming isn't just a bit of fun, you know - it's a proper sport, just like tennis and football and everything, and you could make yourself a proper career out of it."
  • LMA Manager 2007 Trailer (PC, 360, PS2)
"The full game aims to distil the art of football management into a comfortable interface, stocked with all the options you'd expect but easy to navigate around, with options like a fantasy team mode and the ability to download data updates at intervals. Despite the release date's proximity to the close of the August transfer window, you'll be able to download all the changes from day one."

Boomtown Update (Multi)

Boomtown has posted the following:
  • John Terry fronts Pro Evo 6
"Konami has signed up England skipper John Terry as the cover star of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 in the UK."
  • Tony Hawk Project 8 Screenshots (360, PS3)
  • X360/PC LMA 2007 Match Engine Screenshots
"In action with Codemasters' latest football management game."
  • Need for Speed: Carbon Screenshots (360)
"I can't help but feel disappointed with the direction the series is taking here. A night only game seems a lazy way of avoiding the frame rate issues that plagued Most Wanted. Setting a game solely at night is a good way of hiding a multitude of graphical sins. Compared to Most Wanted, Carbon looks like a step backwards for a series that was getting back on track."

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam Interview (Wii)

Yahoo! Games have posted an interview with Kragen Lum, Producer of Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam.
Yahoo! Games: "How do the trick controls work? Are they similar to the other games in the series?"
Kragen Lum: "The trick controls in Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam are very similar to the other games in the Tony Hawk series, though we are working with less buttons. Using just two buttons, players are able to perform the ollies, grab tricks, flip tricks, and grinds that they're used to doing in the Tony Hawk games."

Get ready for moving to the U.S. for school at the end of next week.
Pig out on food and watch preseason football for the most part.

I wish, I'm on the other end of the spectrum in Maine. I grew up in Washington.
