Eurogamer Update (Multi)

Eurogamer has posted the following:
  • Virtua Tennis 3 First Impressions
"What playing Virtua Tennis 3 for a few days has done is relatively straightforward - it has confirmed our suspicion that this long-awaited update is going to be something very special indeed, marking yet another sports game which anyone who is a fan of finely honed gameplay of any sort will want to add to their collection. The graphics have been tweaked even further since last time we saw VT3, and are among the nicest next-gen visuals we've seen yet in some respects; shadows and lighting are superbly well-rendered, with only a few little flaws now visible (the shadows underneath players' hairlines and around their eyes still seem somewhat ropey, but everything else looks brilliant in this regard), and the textures are almost uniformly high quality, with stunning cloth and hair effects. This improved technology means that the famous players in the game look more like their real-life counterparts than almost any sports game to date has managed - although the Uncanny Valley effect does make them look disquietingly like animated waxworks at times."
  • Get your song in Burnout
"EA's teamed up with Virgin Records and Epiphone to go on a MySpace-wide talent search for the best new bands and artists, offering the winner a chance for their track to appear in Burnout Dominator."
  • UEFA Champs League 2006-2007 Dev Diary
"UEFA Champions League associate producer Matthew Prior talks about the authenticity and presentation that's so crucial to the game, which is due out on Xbox 360, PC, PS2, PSP and mobile from 23rd March."
  • Champs League Dev Promises Real-Life Chants
"Some of the most exciting games in football have taken place in UEFA's money-spinning Champions League - with the last two seasons alone bringing us Liverpool's astonishing comeback against AC Milan and Arsenal's outrageous defeat at the hands of stupid Barcelona. Just don't, alright? It still hurts."

Burnout 5 Video Interview (PS3, 360)

GameTrailers has posted a video interview with Alex Ward, as they talk about Burnout 5.
"Alex Ward from Criterion talks about working on Burnout 5 and hints at developing a new Black game."

The Master Handler & Master Dunker Skills

"In part two of SportsGamer's three part series, we take a look at The Master Handles & Master Dunker Skills in NBA Street: Homecourt. You'll also find screens of each skill set below."

NCAA March Madness 07 Simulations

"No. 4 North Carolina at No. 21 Boston College, Washington at No. 5 Pittsburgh, No. 9 Memphis at Gonzaga, No. 15 Southern Illinois at No. 12 Butler"

Ultimate Motorcross Website Online (PC)

The official Ultimate Motorcross website is online.
"Racing on a motorbike has never been this much fun! Ultimate Motorcross is easy to learn, hard to master. Speed is essential to take on the bigger jumps in various tracks, so keep your eyes on the road. Beware of insane crashes with ragdoll physics!"

Maximum Football Patch Available (PC)

Matrix Games have posted a patch for Maximum Football.
"This hefty new update brings dozens of updates, changes, bug fixes, and improvements, including a variety of user-suggested features and changes. You call the plays; we’ll run ‘em!"

Other Stuff...

How about those Pistons! They took it to the Spurs, didn't they? Oh wait, nevermind.

Looks like my game tonight will be postponed, due to NOTHING ON THE ROADS! I tell you, I've never seen so many school closings over NOTHING in my entire life. I'm telling you, there isn't a drop of snow or ice on any road in my area and they've shut down every school. When I went to school, we needed at least 3 inches on the road to get a 2 hours late.

Enough about me, what's up with you?
  • QOTD: Do you drink or eat while gaming or do you do that before and/or after your sessions?

It's freezing here, still have a ton of snow, but I'm back at work. We got a guy here pretty good, he showed up and we acted like we came in, and asked him why he didn't. One of those things you had to be there for, but it was funny.

QOTD -I'm usually drinking pop and eating munchies when I play games.

Through trial and error over the past week, I was finally able to set up a draft for my NBA 2K7 league last night. It had to be set up through the console instead of the PC like last year. I am looking forward to the draft tomorrow evening.
We got much less snow than expected on Long Island. Mostly it rained yesterday but overnight everything froze up and the roads were bad this morning.

QOTD: I don't eat while gaming. I drink water soemtimes.

Never thought about it, but I do like to partake in a few adult beverages during games from time to time. I will also snack when im gaming, but I only game a couple hours a week, so its not like I have put to much thought into eating and drinking during my game time, its usually what ever is in front of me at the time.
