Player Names Stripped From Tecmo Bowl on the Virtual Console (Wii)

WiiFanboy has the scoop.
"Admittedly, we should've noticed such when we played the game yesterday during our VC Monday Madness feature. Maybe its our old age, but we didn't really notice the player names being changed at all. Regardless, it happened and while the original Tecmo Bowl on the NES didn't have official NFL team names, they did have player names. This was the result of being endorsed by the NFL Player's Association."

Sensible World of Soccer To Hit Xbox Live Arcade (360)

360Monster has the scoop.
"Codemasters have just confirmed to 360Monster that Sensible World of Soccer will be hitting the Xbox 360 Live Arcade this summer!

We all know that there are many different versions of Sensible Soccer, but the one that we'll be seeing on the Live Arcade is, by far, the best one - the 1996 edition - Sensible World of Soccer."

FlatOut Ultimate Carnage Screenshots (360)

Boomtown has posted some screenshots of FlatOut Ultimate Carnage.
"Some of the many brand new design and gameplay components featured in FlatOut Ultimate Carnage include 12 cars racing on screen up from eight in FlatOut 2, five all-new single player and two all-new multiplayer game modes over Xbox Live, over 8,000 dynamic objects per track up from 5,000 in FlatOut 2, widescreen High Definition resolution (720p), dynamic lighting and shadowing all with proper real-time environment mapping on all vehicles, downloadable content via Xbox Live, and 20,000 polygons per car up from 7,500 in the previous generation."

Def Jam Icon Demo (PS3)

According to PSX Extreme, a demo for Def Jam Icon will be available soon.
"Some new stuff is geared up to hit the PlayStation Network around tomorrow (Thursday) night, but only of the featured contents is something to look forward to and that's the Def Jam: Icon demo. Sony didn't specify what the demo would feature, but it's likely the same as the X360 demo that featured the gas station stage and Big Boi and T.I as the fighters."

GameTrailers Movie Clips (Wii-Virtual Console, PSP)

GameTrailers have posted movie clips from the following games:
  • Burnout Dominator
"See how far you can go by racking up combos and time by smashing into other vehicles!"
  • Tecmo Bowl (Wii - Virtual Console)
"It's New York versus LA in a battle for pigskin supremacy as Tecmo Bowl heads to the Wii's Virtual Console."

Other Stuff...

The playoffs start tonight in our basketball league. I thought we just played all night long, until we lost, but we don't. If we win, we play next week, so hopefully after tonight we'll still be playing.

The Pistons are 4-0 on their west coast trip, finishing off the trip against the Suns on Friday. Speaking of the Suns, that was a crazy game last night against the Mavs. Nash hit for 10 points in less than a minute to send it into the first OT, unreal.

What's up with you?
  • Q'sOTD: How many brackets have you filled? Are they all the same? Who's your final 4?

Just waiting out the final 2 hours till the tourney starts. I may get in a few games of MLB 2K7 while I wait. Other than that it's watching the tourney the whole day.

QOTD: I filled out a few brackets, but all my picks are the same on each one. Final 4 is Florida, UCLA, Georgetown, and Texas A&M with Texas A&M winning it all.

QOTD: I've filled out two brackets, one for fun and one for my wife's office pool. My final four is Florida, UCLA, Georgetown, and Texas A&M, with Florida winning it all in the "fun" bracket and Georgetown in the pool.

QOTD - 5 brackets. I don't remember who my final four is all of them (we use a huge spreadsheet to keep track), but the winners break out like this: Kansas (2), Texas, OSU and Florida.
