Virtua Tennis 3 Demo Available (360)

According to Eurogamer, the Virtua Tennis 3 demo is available on the Marketplace.
"Virtua Tennis 3 is due out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next Friday, 23rd March, but those of you diving around with Microsoft's next-gen console needn't wait that long to see how good it is, as there's a demo of it up on Xbox Live Marketplace this morning."

Everybody's Golf Demo Movie Clip (PS3)

Playsyde has posted a movie clip from the Everybody's Golf demo.
"The demo of Everybody's Golf 5 is available since a few hours on the Playstation Store as expected, so I woke up a bit earlier than usual to capture a video before going to work. Even if the visuals aren't as amazing as what we saw in the images a few weeks ago and the game runs at 30 fps, it's still very nice and cute looking. I'm definitely importing that one."

FlatOut and Forza 2 Update (360)

Xboxyde has posted the following:
  • Forza 2 Screenshots and Movie Clip
"The videos of Forza 2 are still a bit rare, and even rarer are the videos who actually make me want to play the game. Well at least this new Pitpass certainly does a good job showing the visuals of th game, it's actually looking good! Thanks to Skate Zilla for the capture."
  • FlatOut Ultimate Carnage Screenshots
"3 days, 3 series of FlatOut Ultimate Carnage images. This time the developers show us the graphical difference between the "old gen" and "new gen" version."
  • More FlatOut Ultimate Carnage Screenshots
"After yesterday's 4 images of FlatOut Ultimate Carnage, here 9 more of this upcoming 360 title."

Racing Games Promote Risky Driving Behavior

Ars Technica has the article.
"Now, many of you are probably shouting at your screens at this point, and yes, the old maxim is true: correlation is not the same as causation. In order to address this, the second part of the study looked at causality by comparing the effects of driving games against neutral video games on cognitions that related to risk taking, and arousal/excitement. 83 volunteers played one of three racing games (Burnout, Midnight Racer, or Need for Speed) or one of three neutral games (Tak, Crash Bandicoot or FIFA 2005). This part of the study found that playing racing games caused more of an increase in arousal/excitement than the neutral games, and an increase in risk-promoting cognitions."

Other Stuff...

Oh well, our basketball season is over. We were absolutely killed last night, losing by 40 points. As usual I was the only one back on defense as the other team just fast breaked the entire game. Very frustrating to say the least. Oh well, at least we won a few games this year, lol.

The Pistons go for 5 straight wins on the west coast trip tonight as they battle the Suns. Should be an interesting game, to say the least. They need to keep winning, since the Cavs forgot how to lose.

Saturn games on the VC! WOW!!! That would be very, very cool

QOTD - Hanging out at home, watching the games. Major snow storm coming in later today, so will just have a nice relaxing weekend.

QOTD: Gym Saturday and Sunday morning. I still have been not making time for it during the week. Sunday afternoon my friend's family is coming over for dinner.

St. Patty's Day parade in downtown Cleveland on Saturday. Wish I was going to the Cavs game that night with the return (finally) of Carlos "Stab an Old Blind Man in the Back" Boozer.

QOTD: Going to watch 300 this weekend, trying to fix that damn toilet which was causing a water leak, and relax.

I'm excited about the Sega Saturn rumor on the VC.

QOTD: Moving into a new house here in Missoula, today and tomorrow. Getting DirecTV installed at the new home tomorrow morning. That new big screen HDTV that I bought should look nice when watching the NCAAs this weekend.

QOTD: We don't have an indoor soccer game until next Friday, so I'm not playing soccer today. Other than that, my parents are out of town, so I'm watching my brother entire weekend.

Tomorrow, I'm taking it easy until heading over to the Joel Coliseum for the BC/Georgetown and UNC/Michigan State games. Sunday...I'm not doing a damn thing and I love it!

Just going to be watching the tourney games this weekend. Might play some MLB 2K7 also. Heading back to college on Sunday night as spring break is almost over.
