GameSpot has posted the following:
- Tony Hawk's Proving Ground GC '07: 5 Minutes with Tony Hawk 2 Video (360)
- GC '07: Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Hands On Preview (Wii)
"Though we didn't get to try it out, the archery minigame seems like a nice change of pace from the hectic dash events. Here, you draw your arrow in much the same way as you might do with a real bow: by holding your Nunchuk straight out in front of you, then pressing the A and B buttons together to simulate pinching the arrow on the string, after which you pull back with your Wii Remote."
- Skate Gameplay Movie 3-5 (360)
- GC '07: Top Spin 3 First Look (360)
"One of the big areas of focus with Top Spin 3 has been character animations. Right from the get-go, it's easy to see the qualitative leap the game has taken since the last entry in the series, which was no graphical slouch to begin with. Not only are there a host of new animations for serves, shots, and crosscourt moves, but all the animations string together in a fluid, lifelike manner."
- GC '07: NBA 2K8 Updated Hands On Preview (360)
"The other big addition to gameplay is the new off-ball controls--as they're known. Here, the idea is to give the player more flexibility with how plays unfold on the court, and the team at 2K is taking the system to a surprising level of depth. Essentially, the system lets you choose a two-man play to run and gives you the ability to choose which players are involved in that play."
- Backbreaker Kicks Off in '08
"NaturalMotion is best known for being the purveyor of the euphoria, endorphin, and morpheme animation tools for in-game animaton."
- Backbreaker Screenshots (PS3)
- FIFA Soccer 08 Screenshots (360)
- FIFA Manager 08 Screenshots (PC)
- GC '07: Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 Hands On Preview (PS3)
"Jumping at the chance to play the first version of Pro Evolution Soccer for the PlayStation 3, we were pleased to see how good the game looked. Now 75 percent through development, the game looks noticeably sharper on the PS3 at this point than on the Xbox 360. The extra fidelity really helps you spot individual players and appreciate the extra detail in the animation."
- GC '07: FIFA 08 Hands On Preview (PS3)
"It's pretty much a given that EA's FIFA series is so polished you can nearly see your face in it. However, this year, the incidental details are almost so many that they become throwaway. For example, take the incredibly detailed cloth deformation on the players as they move: This is something that really only becomes apparent at the end of a match as you see them running off the pitch."
