Title Anticipated Before Daytona Speedweeks 2008

SOUTH BEND, IN (1-1-08) -- The Sim Factory, LLC, maker of the PC simulation title "ARCA Sim Racing," has announced that customers will be able to pre-order their software copies beginning on January 1, 2008, at 6:00 PM ET. As if the most anticipated stock car simulation in five years was not enough reason to order in itself, TSF has also announced that out of all those who pre-order, every purchaser will be entered into a random drawing for a custom Sim Factory racing cockpit valued at $2799.00 and comes complete with a 24" LCD monitor, Logitech G25 wheel, Logitech sound system, and racing seat. Other prizes will also be offered through the pre-order period.

"When we began this project in 2006, our goal was to create the most realistic and immersing stock car simulation title ever to be released," said Bill Zimmerman, Vice President of Marketing and Development for The Sim Factory. "Through the help of our beta testers, the ARCA teams, Hoosier, and our other partners, I firmly believe we have accomplished that goal."

The first public preview of ASR was broadcast via OnlineRacin.com in mid-December and the response was overwhelming. The initial interest in the title crashed media and chat servers for TSF and OLRtv as well as PSRtv who broadcast later races. As the name suggests, the "sim" is themed around the cars, tracks, and stars of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the ARCA RE/MAX Series which has been running now for 55 years and is moving in to what may be a landmark year in 2008. All five car manufacturers have licensed their car models to TSF and most of the ARCA Re/MAX Series teams and drivers will also appear in the software. The title will ship with ten of the most popular series tracks and additional ARCA facilities will be added in the coming months without additional charge.

Those who pre-order their copies of ARCA Sim Racing are guaranteed to have their product no later March 1, 2008, but TSF is striving hard to deliver the software by Daytona Speedweeks 2008. Once released, the product will be available via DVD-ROM. There is also a possibility of a digital download that is copy protected like most music files. Those who download the software will also receive a physical disk for backup from TSF.

Minimum system requirements to run ASR require users to have a computer running XP, XP 64-bit, or Vista. Additionally, the systems need a minimum 2.0 GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, a GeForce6800 or higher, Radeon 9600 or equivalent 3D graphics card with 128MB of video RAM, 2.0GB of hard drive space for installation, and an internet connection which is required for online participation. While the software will run with keyboard or joystick inputs, a wheel and pedal setup is highly recommended. Additional system requirements are available at www.arcasimracing.com.
