Major League Baseball 2K8 Patch Tonight?

One of the Forum Admins over at 2K Sports has posted the following details about the upcoming patch for Major League Baseball 2K8.

"According to my call at Microsoft, the Patch should go live on XBOX 360 tonight. We are currently in the process of checking with Sony about there patch release, and I would say to check tonight about that but that's looking more like a tomorrow release. Thank you for your patience and I am glad to provide this to you as I was hopeful of doing so."

This is correct. It will slowly make it's round on the net. Also with XBL being down for maintenance that also is slowing down the patch

Here's a guy over on the 2K forums who said he lives 100 miles away from Microsoft on the West Coast and he has not gotten the patch as of yet.

Im waiting on this patch. Is it true or false. I know its April fools but, someone seriously tell me yes or no.

As stated pushing patches to Xbox Live doesn't involve updating one server. An entire farm of servers needs to be updated to push the patch.

Is an interesting read into the daily happenings at the Xbox Live Operations Center.

The person being interviewed stated they use gigabits of bandwidth per second. The max being 38 Gbps.

Edit: Perhaps signing out and signing back in will get you kicked around to another server.

yea seems kinda weird im the only one
but like i said on the 2kforums

i already had the 1st patch
and my xbox prompted me to download another patch

the game is alot more playable with default settings
even though you can still notice the bad framerate

you guys dont have to believe me

Yes the patch is out it. The Leaderboards were also reset. Its like a whole new game guys , well im off to go play this and see what other goodies they fixed.

Well, if it works it way from user to user, I should be able to download it by now, and I can't. I live about an hour from the Microsoft studios. Actually been there for play testing - cool campus. Most days, I'd give people the benefit of the doubt, but being that it is April Fools, I'm a little skeptical.

I get balls and walks very often in 2k8 I just have the corner slider at 90 and a few other small tweaks. it's not hard to draw walks in this game the main thing is paitence

I told you guys last night on page 3 that there will be no patch today and no one believed me and you all criticized me for it.

Look who was right and who was wrong. Today is here and there is no patch.
