Finally, the tooth has been pulled! Me and Natalie arrived at the oral surgeon's office on time and she had to drink some sort of liquid, to get her a little drowsy and happy at the same time. She was playing games on the Blackberry and about 5 minutes later she was laughing and falling over, as she couldn't even stand up straight. It was funny, but yet a little nerve racking at the same time, if that makes sense. Anyways, after she snapped out of it on occasion, knowing exactly what she'd be in for, the dental surgeon finally proceeded with popping her in the mouth with a few shots of numbing medication. She felt it and of course cried, I held her hand the entire process, from the shots to the actual extraction. Wow, an extraction is crazy to witness. Anyways, she is fine and I am relieved that it is over. We went to the toy store and had ice cream afterwards and didn't make it home until late yesterday evening. A very eventful day, to say the least. She can't wait to show off the tooth at school today, as she wanted to wait on the tooth fairy for one more night.
