Madden 09: Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond New Color Commentary Team

In the recent Madden NFL 09 press release we posted, it looks like we'll be seeing the in-booth play-by-play and color commentary team of Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond.

Oh no. Oh Jesus God no. Cris f'ing Collinsworth? I can't STAND him! I'd rather be treated to the docile tones of John Madden farting than to listen to him! Great...just f'ing great!

These guys are knowledgable, but annoying at times. All that being said will they actually be used in a proper manner or will we get the same old canned crap lines?

Hopefully someone in charge over there has seen how great SECA does with their play by play for The Show and implements it here in Madden. Otherwise who cares who it is, as it will get old quick. Anything is better than the radio guy, so an improvement to be sure.

Great news. The commentary can't be recycled from last year because there is no commentary so I am excited about that. Plus, I can see these guys actually spending time recording their lines, unlike Joe Morgan.

Hey, it could be worse. We could have been stuck with the arrogrant *** that is Joe Buck. I am not a fan of Collinsworth either though.
