Czar checks in with Czarisode 7, as he looks at the importance of practice mode and how it has evolved over the years.

"Czar opens up the development workshop to break down the importance of a good practice mode in videogames sports. He goes all the way back to NBA 2002, to show us what's needed in 2010."
He is always right on point! I hope all the devs are not only watching this but, listening. I know you hear it but, listen to him. There is a big difference between the two. CH2K8 is the model for all bball games to be. They had it all and all need to follow.
I'm with Iverson on this one - Practice? Practice?
Old Dave jumps right into the game. The day I have to actually work at a videogame is the day I hang up the sticks. I'll practice while playing.
All that said, another stellar Czar video ... and he's right, the games should give you practice guys all the modes necessary.
Dave you are Hilarious !!! jump right in huh ... LOL !!!
WHo are you kidding ??? We will be the 1st generation in the nursing home with icy hot on our arthritic fingers sitting in front of a 100 inch hd tv cause we can't see balling all day long in diapers.....
And while you guys are fixing practice mode, give us an accurate indicator for when we are contesting shots and using correct shot block timing in all situations. I'm talking to you, 2k!
Czar- you're the voice of the community man. Excellent work again.
I don't think these game devs really realize that some of us really want to practice. I haven't even gone into All-Star Weekend/Dunk Contest/3-Point Shoot-out Modes.
