Thank you!! Please patch the slider effectiveness! Make it too strong. Just give us options. Those videos have been terribly frustrating. If the beta has errors then I will apologize for being harsh. But the retail version needs to have sliders that allow us to customize the game to our liking.

Hey Russell, thanks for coming around and at least giving us some feedback. I have a serious question....

Has there ever been a conversation about bringing in a couple people from the online community to play the game before it goes gold?

It is 1 month before the release of NCAA10, and people are finding things in little clips put out on the internet. Couldn't things like 3rd down logic, OL/DL interaction, sliders working, rosters, etc. be found and at least mentioned to the team. I'm guessing guys would be lining up to get a shot at helping the NCAA series get back to its glory days.

Seriously though, I agree, make it too strong, I shouldn't have to turn it out to 0 to see any difference at all in the first place. I should be able to just tweak it like 10 to the left or something and notice small changes at the very least.

Russ, can you give some sort of confirmation on the "unblocked AI issue" ?
Is that truly what this is about?

I'd really love to know.

As I said, I don't fault you guys if it's just not a priority - I don't think most people care. I'm just curious.

pretty pretty pretty please answer?

Wow. Awesome O-line. lol

Man...I know Russ is trying, but I don't know how many more times I can read that exact response.

Hopefully his promptness pays off and we'll get this stuff patched within the week of release.

Russ,

Thanks for the quick response man. Your efforts and straightforward no BS approach is a welcome change.

What I don't understand though is how this crap slips past someone EVERY year in this game! What in the HELL is going on there? I don't know where you guys are in the development process, but I have to think the game is near completion. Isn't it a little late to be "digging".

I think it's way too late to be digging for any changes to the game disc. The game is probably gold and already sent off to MS and Sony for final certification. At this point I can only hope any fixes to this would be released with the roster and DLC patch.

Yep, EA just reverse sold me. This solidified my stance on NCAA 10 as a non-purchaseable game.

fail. Fix the SLIDERS.

this game is garbage, i will definetly not be buying it again. Madden devs look to be improving their game much more than the NCAA team

i absolutely hate how when you call a run, the cpu is magically blitzing! audible into a pass and their now in cover 3.

Wow, that game doesn't look like it's ready to be shipped out. Makes me wonder what has actually gone on as far as fixing the gameplay in this game the past year.

I can say this though. I enjoy reading these threads and have come to understand that if you want to talk sportsgaming look no further than operationsports.com

Problem is we only make up 1% of the EA NCAA fan base, heck probably less than that. If not a single gamer from this website purchased NCAA 10 EA would still make a killing off all the other sports gamers who don't have a clue what kind of product this is looking to be.

I'm sure the NCAA team is working there buts off. The finished product doesn't look like it's showing it though. I would love to see more interaction with the OS community and putting more time into gameplay and presentation. Maybe change of the team a little to work out some of the kinks that aren't being caught for some reason.

Oh well, like I said EA is gonna get theirs no matter what. $$$$$

LOL proof positive that the cpu cheats..The cpu in this game engine automatically knows what youre doing the same way the AI Qb automatically knows when a receiver is open and delivers the ball without ever really "reading" the defense..

yep, it's a little weak

Hey stylee,

surprised it's 5 days later and there's no response? I'm not. I'm not gonna out my source, but I assure you, everything I said on that other board is gonna be 100% accurate. And honestly, that sucks. :-(

# 38 stylee @ 06/23/09 12:24 PM
Thanks, man, I guess I didn't expect anything else. Thanks for the early warning.

Definitely shouldn't have hoped for anything beyond what your source told you - 100% accurate. I just think it'd be nice if a dev. would say SOMETHING about this issue.

Do they really think it'd piss anyone off any more? I mean, it's already confirmed to be broken again, so why not just say "The DLine AI is such that any unblocked player will do (X)..."

I get the feeling that this wouldn't change even if GTech wins the MNC this year. It hasn't fixed the same problems in Florida's playbook.

You got it.

Besides, if they're selling 2 million units by adding windsocks and teambuilder, why bother fixing gameplay? It's a win-win situation for them; everyone can concentrate on Madden, and NCAA still makes a boatload of money.
