Didnt mean to offend SIM, i was just stating the obvious. I honestly know that there is too much time left in the development cycle for that to be the final visual target!

Well that's good to hear.

Not bad for a 1st screen either.

Ronnie's Twitter also claims that there will be more info on 2k10 tomorrow

That screenshot looks nice. Man do I love competition! Pushing one another to do better.

Graphically I've never had problems with the 2K series and this screen looks similar enough to 2K9 which means it looks very good. But it's the gameplay that needs a huge step forward after 2K9, I don't think anyone can have a legitimate beef with 2K's graphics.

All graphics aside, I'm more pumped about the LeBron chalk situation in the background. I'm a real sucker for small, authentic details. "The Little Things" thread every year is my favorite read on here. Hopefully 2K has continued their trend of adding a bevy of details in that regard this year.

Doubt it b/c its to early to release any gameplay info with 3 months until the game comes out but we can all dream

Seems like it'll be done in real time, which is cool

I agree...its a total " so what? we got that too" screen pointed directly at EA sports

competition brings out the best in everyone

Good screen. Doesn't look like they've touched graphics much aside from minor tweaking, but I had no problem with them to begin with. I felt like 2k9 did a pretty dang good job. Granted, they could have been a bit more high-res like Live's, but they were good enough.

But with less emphasis on graphics means more emphasis on other parts, and that's good news.

LeBron chalk toss. Looks like 2K's not gonna let EA have that one alone.

Competition...this is great for us!

I had no problem with 2k9's graphics....so 2K9.5 would we fine with me. 2K10 just needs to sharpen up all the blurry courts, floor artwork etc.

I agree 100 %.

That means areas such as gameplay, broken sliders, and PIP will be worked on.

Which I'm glad, I could care less if about the graphics being top notch, I want the gameplay to be top notch.

If that means lowering the graphics a tad bit/ only improving it a little bit, then I'm all for it.

Looks good. Can't wait to see more. As others have stated, competition is a great thing for us. We all definitely should appreciate having a choice.

They had the best graphics last year so I don't see why they need to update anything.

Anyway, Shaq's face is off but the chalk thing is cool.

Good start...Shaq's face isn't perfect, I think it's the over shadowing around his eyes that make him look a little "off". His eyes also seem to be set a little too far back in his head.

What I do like is it seems like there getting away from the faces looking too perfect like a previous poster has mentioned. Shaq's face in 2k10 seems to have a depth to it like it didn't before.

I've looked at and compared Shaq from 2k9, from 2k10 and a current real picture of him and it seems they've added his accurate wrinkles in his face which were absent in 2k9.

Take a look...

2k9 with real pic....

And of course 2k10...

Notice the wrinkles added in Shaq's cheeks forehead and nose.

Only minor tweaks needed (bring the eyes forward a bit or push back his brow line....darken up his biceps and forearms as they seem to be unnaturally lighter then the rest of the arm like in 2k8, and elongate overall facial features, his face currently in 2k10 seems a bit "scrunched") and I think we'll have the most accurate 2k Shaq Daddy to date!!!!

Graphics look better than last year but 2k still copied live with lebron throwing up the chalk.
