They did the same stuff last year and with NBA 2k10. Why is everyone so negative? So they have a different kind of marketing idea then other companies.

Yeah, I got a good laugh out of this too. People just need to realize that 2k markets their games this way, and it's not going to change. We may not like it, but that's just the way it is.

I thought it was pretty funny especially since my favorite player in baseball was in it. Also you'll be seeing that ending part of the video a lot when Morneau crushes a few off Verlander this year.

I thought it was ok. I've gotten used to their marketing style by now and as long as they are showing game footage in their ads then it can be officially be called ADVERTISING. Now if they can get this stuff on the air instead of that lame commercial they've been running lately, they might generate some more buzz! And what happened to part 3?

I understand some may be "frustrated" with content, marketing, whatever... being released for this game. But you're bringing down the forum for those that aren't.

#3 was part of the pitcher/batter blog as I recall.

I thought this one was pretty funny. And I LOVE the pitching animation...very fluid. Hopefully they eventually add the ball tracking from these promos to the actual game...I love the HR shots in these vids.

Yeah i mentioned about this on the first trailer they released. It only seems to have that sound on homeruns

No you're not the only one. I heard the terrible bat sound in the end as well. How hard can it be for 2k to fix the bat sounds

The video also shows the 2K animation I hate the most; the catcher burying his head into his hands on a no doubter. I long for the day that animation gets wiped.
