if 11 is the first pic, 10 looked more like Donny.

I think it looks alot better. You can even tell by the shadows inside the helmet.
I just wish they would make the helmets fit better. You should never be able to see McNabbs eyebrows.

Wow! The lighting makes a huge difference in the overall appearance of the game. Graphically Madden is looking good...all we need is some gameplay info

The madden 10 pic and madden 11 pic is like night and day. Madden 11 pic looks so much better then madden 10 pic does. The pics are fine and all. But want more new info on what is going on with madden 11 now. I'm borded right now. Ian please give us a new blog this week please!!!

Man... crazy. I'm always amazed at how they are able to make the graphics improve each year.

^^^^^ It's probably easier for them to upgrade graphics then gameplay.

Little better upgrade but not by much other than better lighting, but how often do we play a game closeup anyways, so it doesn't matter all too much.

really like the new lighting but the jersey's in this shot look about the same...some blurriness around the reebok and collar. The Rivers shots don't really show this IMO.

huge upgrade for 11, i just hope we get a lot of close ups like that to enjoy the new look. Hopefully we can still see the upgrade for the standard game play camera view

Damn...u guys r never satisfied. Yes, the lighting is just one little improvement but it goes a long way. The lighting makes everything look much better, so i think it matters just a little...

Man the graphics are so good now they are reminding me of the first trailer for Madden for the next gen a couple years back with McNabb throwing to TO.

That shot reminds me of the infamous commercial. Proper lighting makes this game look so much more real. I'm impressed.

Nice screen.

Still can't believe it.

It looks good......but I don't like McNabb in a Redskin uniform.

Ahh, looks like they are using the lighting tech being used in NCAA 11...or are they? Still seems like the same thing with the Rivers pic - The "11" pic is sharper and it's hard to tell the lighting situation but, actually, the 11 pic looks like it's a mid, sunny day shot in an open stadium where as the 10 shot looks like stadium lighting is being used so it's hard to say which looks better since they are not comparing same lighting situations.
The 11 pic does look pretty good, though.

Nice pic, but I wonder if the camera man in the distance is ever going to figure out what's wrong with his camera. He's been pointing that thing down at the ground for years now...

it doesnt matter, even if the 10 shot was in sunlight, there never was any separate shadows created by the facemask...the bars of the facemask would create no shadow in previous versions...these little shadows add to the realism...in the previous maddens, shot were never dark in the helmet...its like there was a little night light at the top of the helmet always keeping the players face lit
