I didn't notice an 'overall' anywhere in the demo...did I just not see it?

I thought they were not visible this year actually (and in real terms the parts are larger than the sum in some ways)

Its not there. I think this is bogus IMO.

LOL, read the first sentence of his opening paragraph.

Recently sitting down with a more complete preview build of UFC Undisputed 2010, we decided to dig deep and take a gander at the overall ratings – which were found within the Tournament mode – for all the fighters.

They have no reason to lie about it, they are a legit site.

As I don't see dan 'the beast' severn listed I'll just assume he is rated 100.

Also, jonny bones as the 20th best LHW? Look at some of the people in front of him... right.

# 6 PlatooN @ 05/04/10 10:07 PM
is it me or do the ratings seem awfully low for all the fights? Brock may not be the best in the world but wouldn't you rating one of the best in the 90's and not high 70s? I'm not a Brock fan and this isn't about him but the top guys should have high ratings...no?

# 7 mikenoob @ 05/04/10 10:18 PM
He does have a high rating for the scale range of the ratings. 77 is definitely considered a high rating, if the highest is 79 with only 2 guys holding it.

For the love of God I hope some of these ratings are wrong. You trying to tell me Anthony Johnson, Lauzon, Efrain, Cote, etc are only a few numbers better then Kimbo ? Are you serious ???????? LOL

And Forrest is only a 73 ???????? LOL

# 10 boxboy99 @ 05/04/10 11:57 PM
The ratings are not spread out at all. Everyone is pretty much within 10 points. Maybe the overall is meaningless in this game.

# 11 jeremym480 @ 05/04/10 11:58 PM
Wow, there doesn't seem to be much separation between the top and bottom of the division's.

Tito is ahead of Forrest, SMH.

Is it even worse, Bispeng and Thiago is ranked even higher then Tito...........WOW

# 14 toine2983 @ 05/05/10 12:56 AM
These ratings seem bogus to me.

Why is every fighter rated in the 70s?

And why aren't the ratings more spread out to distinguish between the elite and mediocre fighters?

# 15 sb24 @ 05/05/10 10:10 AM
I dont have a problem with this. I dont think we will see the top guys used all the time now.

# 16 Steve_OS @ 05/05/10 10:19 AM
For those that still don't believe what I said earlier, one of the Gamezone editors shared w/ me this screenshot. I've been working on getting 360 code, but have no luck. Oh well.

# 17 UNC_Pete @ 05/05/10 12:08 PM
Even though the ratings are all in the 70s, maybe some of the lower guys have less skills than the higher guys??

The scale is relative... GSP's rating doesn't matter as its the highest, the only thing you might argue is the lack of distinction between him and the 2nd best welterweight (and third and so on). What if for instance the limit for the real fighters is set at 80 instead of 100? I'd say its fair to score gsp 79/80 as long as grease application isnt a stat (zing.)

As for the CAF having higher ratings, it was the same in the last iteration but there was a filter in matchmaking to avoid CAF fights (something I used often when I found out 99% of created fighters were 6'6" with 115 in sub offense, etc.) Hopefully the same option is in 2010.

I have no problem with the ratings, im glad they are low, now lets hope they actually mean something.

Not pissed about the 10 point difference from highest to lowest, it is the UFC and Donna wants the best, plus now online wont be the same 8-10 fighters all the time...

Also move sets might make fighters different more so than the OVERALL rating(Level 3 vs Level 1)

Im more interested on how the other stats look...
