Dear Santa(Wife): Could you please bring me a 3DTV this year?

# 7 DJ @ 06/15/10 03:48 PM
Well, since I'll likely never be getting a 3DTV (I just bought an HDTV), this really doesn't affect me much. I would like to see how they go about pulling this off, though.

Yep, there will be two different versions of 2K11 on the disc. The normal version and the Move version.

It's essentially a PS3 Wiimote but more advanced.

Make of it what you will.

I'm not too interested in that or being in 3D. All I care about is gameplay for the normal version.

Did you see footage in addition to the announcement?

# 13 Shakedowncapo @ 06/15/10 04:38 PM
They just showed 2k11 footage in a montage.. It looks, like 2k!

2k in 3D I guess that's sweet for the few people that actually own a 3D TV by then...not something I would consider as great to hear but it's alright.

so in other words we need to spend money on move controller, a nba 2k11 game, and a 3d hdtv for those who doesnt have one to get the experience they r offering?way to go sony as usual ur always more cost effective than the others to just play games!

Can't really fault Sony, they are just optional ways of playing initially it's would be 2K to blame since they created there game so it can be played with the new technology...also you have to buy a 3D HDTV in order to watch a movie that has 3D capabilities. Can't fault Sony at all.

It's not needed to play the game... at all. If you're not interested in 3D enough to have a 3D TV, I doubt they expect NBA 2K11 to change your mind. Same case with Move.

They're just added options, which are always a plus.

But I guess only like 17 2k users actually have a 3dtv so that will be a fail.
