NBA 2K11 Demo Set For September 14th, Lakers vs. Celtics (PS3, 360)

The NBA 2K11 Facebook page has been updated with a demo date of September 14th. You can choose between the Lakers or Celtics.

We will update this post as more details are released.

*UPDATE: The demo will be 1 quarter at 5 minutes, on default pro difficulty. Audio will be stripped down for the demo.

Well well well this month is getting better and better. NCAA 11 and Madden 11 got patched. NBA 2k11 demo comes out Tuesday, EA MMA demo comes out the end of the month....awesome month.

just for the sake of clarity Da Czar does NOT have any version of the game.

he went in to capture for a period of time and has been editing since, he doesn't have any version of the game. and hence why he is very excited for the demo

Next tuesday wow, I can't wait. I think 2K has addressed alot of issues with NBA2K11 that may have bothered us in the past, but 2K11 looks great. In away with the demo coming out so early, that gives people a chance to enjoy and dissect things they like or dislike and inform the 2Kdevs about things thay may need to be addressed in a first patch. Then again issues we may see in a demo, maynot be in the final version. Anway, we get to play NBA2K11 NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!

Im guessing this is the North American release date? any ideas of a European release date? seeing as we get the full game 4 days after the North american release, will our demo version be available on the 18th?

Nah, it will come out the same day. I've never experienced that a demo came out later due to location differnces... it will come out on the 14th, for both american and european...

I dont care about all the fluff, I just want to see gameplay. And Ronnie said that a good chunk of all the gameplay features are present in the demo.

the usage of "bare bones" didn't necessarily involve anything that has to do with "fluff." I understand at this point that people just want to feel and experience the improvements that's been talked about for themselves. Anyways, any word if some form of play calling is in the demo?

That's what im interested in its usually just the 5 on 5 demo no plays would be a step up for 2K if they had it lol!
