In all seriousness, I'm curious as well. Move has thus far seemed to me to be nothing more than a gimmick. Very anxious to read the responses of posters in how well Move works with the Show.

I'm surprised that Joe Mauer is staying on the cover. But in the end its about GAMEPLAY. Not who is on the cover.
Not a fan of the same cover boy two years in a row. Hopefully the game didn't take any steps backward.

Its clearly cosmetic but yea.
Anyways, seeing as i dont buy sports games yearly anymore, ESPECIALLY baseball, which has way more games to get through in a franchise, it won't matter, cause I am enjoying 10.
That is unless they overhauled the announcing, stat overlays, user interface and franchise menus.
If not, 10 will suffice. The next Show I get will feel and look different than the last 4.
I know I am in the minority but it is getting stale.

I appreciate everyone speculating on the game not being as good given the cover athlete not changing. I needed that laugh after work!
As for the actual cover, I think it looks great. I hope they have a "Well played Mauer" version 2.0 when the commercials begin to air again.

Maybe Mauer's return to the cover means they made the catcher mode in RTTS better...
It's a different cover athlete. I can tell from the picture that it is
"23 million/yr Joe" on the cover this year. Haha jk I love Joe Mauer like every other Minnesotan.

Well, I knew no one from the Mets had a shot at being on the cover. I was hoping to see either Cargo or Tulo from the Rockies make the cut but I have zero issues with Mauer being on the cover for another year.
I like the look of the cover; I didn't realize Mauer was rocking a beard for part of the past season. Cool stuff.
