MLB 2K11 News Post

According to Ronnie, the MLB 2K11 patch will be submitted to Sony and Microsoft by the end of the week. Due to the submission process, look for a release in roughly 2 weeks.

They will try to get the PC patch to release as close to the console patch as possible.

We'll post the MLB 2K11 patch details, as soon as they are released.

Awesome, so glad they got it out so quickly this year. Now lets see the list. I'm not expecting many fixes since they only worked on it for 2 months.

About freaking time! Can't wait to see what they patched.

Ronnie just said the PC version is getting a patch and it should be released fairly close to the console patches. His other comment was that the patch was beefy.

Does that mean we won't have the patch for another 3 weeks though, while M$ reviews it or whatever?

Correct. It's usually at least 2 weeks for Sony/MS to review a patch once they get it.

Glad it's been announced, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high for the PC patch being released anywhere near the console one. One thing is different this time, however - there was no DD version of the game this year to my knowledge. So, perhaps no hangups with coordinating all the DD services to release it at the same time.

Again, glad it's been announced though.

Yessssss! I've set the game aside until it releases. There's a really good baseball game dying to get out and I hope the patch takes a big step towards making that happen. Not expecting a miracle or perfection, just cut down on the glitchiness and make franchise playable.

Here's what I want to see:

- Franchise fatigue bug fixed
- Freezing toned down (completely eliminating could be impossible, it just happens sometimes)
- Fix the bug where pitchers coming back from DL stints disappear from your roster until you let the CPU autocorrect
- Maybe fine tune the budgets so AI controlled teams are more likely to let players slide into FA.
- HR glitch (although I haven't had it happen to me in the last month and half *knock on wood*)

I know many people will want injuries "fixed," but I contend that are very realistic. Even so, maybe have the slider be more effective to where the "default" isn't as heavy on the injuries and those of us that enjoy the challenge of managing the rosters can turn it up to "realism" levels.

I agree. It's the only 100 point slider in the game so it should be a really easy fix.

Excited for the patch. I will just stay play Nba 2k11 until the patch drops

yay! can't wait to see the patch notes to see if I'll finally be able to start my Franchise or if I'm trading it in towards LA Noire

my last message from Ronnie was about the patch notes. We'll have to wait until the patch is approved to get the patch notes, in case it gets rejected and they change.

So, no patch notes for likely a couple weeks. Odds are we'll get patch notes day of release, or later in the day of release ala the Show patch notes.

Hopefully the patch gets approved sooner than expected.

If franchise fatigue is fixed (and I'm assuming it will be), this game goes from a 8/10 to 9/10.

I love the hell out of it, but that damn franchise fatigue....

I hope a lot of the bugs and glitches are fixed, but if they ONLY fixed the fatigue issue, I would be a happy camper. That doesn't mean I don't want to see everything else fixed as well.

As someone earlier stated, there is a REALLY good baseball game here, a good patch could let that game come out. Waiting for this patch is the reason I haven't traded it in for The Show yet. I really want this to be the fix.

Heres to hope!

I haven't had the game freeze on me in the last 2-3 weeks *knocks on wood*

Before that I was having a game freeze every 3rd or 4th game (usually around the 4th or 5th inning, occassionally at the loading screen to select sides).

Anyone else still having the freezing issue now?

I'm playing the PC version and it has never frozen on me
